I have a light silver Nissan Titan. I've clayed,fp'd and have a few coats of FMJ on it. The truck is sort of a garage queen as I only use it on weekends.
I seem to be getting quite a few surface scratches that show up as white lines or pinhead size pecks on the SIDES in random locations. So far they buff right off with some FMJ and don't seem to leave any permanent marks. I guess these are coming from road debris I get hit with while on the interstate. For whatever reason I haven't seen these marks on the painted plastic front
bumper extensions.- softer paint?
Question- Would a carnuba wax topper over something like AIO be more resistant to this type marring ??? I chose a sealent due to the winter and road salts, maybe it's too thin or hard ?:nixweiss
