I was lucky enough to have Presidents Day off so I decided to do a thorough detailing session on my car.
I started on Saturday by using DACP on the upper half of my car (lower panels have semigloss clearcoat) using a PC at speed setting 5 and Meguiars Yellow Foam Pad. I have to say that this is the first time I've used DACP on the entire car and I was astounded with it's abilities to remove blemishes. With the right amount of time and effort I was able to remove 80% of my deeper clearcoat scratches!
After removing DACP and followed up with a hand application of Einzetts 1ZPP. This helped bring back the sharp reflections DACP dulled. It also added a bit of darkness to the paint.
MY LSP was NXT applied by hand.
I'm very pleased with the results and hopefully I can keep the car looking this way through the show season. Here's a picture of the car after a final wipedown with FD.
