POWER Waterless Auto Washer... On The Cheap

Thats good to know about distilled water, I've been hesitant about getting into engine detailing. Is it really complicated? what all MUST I look out for?

I think it would work well for engine detailing. You could use distilled water to dodge water spots plus distilled water does not conduct electricity, less likely it would screw up something while rinsing the engine.

:idea

A final rinse with HD FREE Concentrate mixed with distilled water works great on the engine. The wax in HD FREE coats everything nicely and you can just let it dry, then buff the top surfaces.

If you're dealing with newer vehicles (lots of plastic) there isn't anything to worry

about. Just don't blast the water into the air cleaner assembly. And it would be wise

to use air to blow dry it all.

For all the bad reviews on orangeonions, at least they ship fast. I ordered on the 17th and got it today. Looks very well made, I was expecting a super soaker with a motor. This looks nice.

You're gong to love it!

I ended up giving in... hopefully arrives soon, it seems like an excellent little machine. I really hope it tremendously reduces the need for a pressure washer, my main reason for purchasing.

What all do you guys use this thing for, mine was shipped out today. Im looking forward to adding this to my setup, I plan on using it on door jambs after megs super degreaser.

Since i bought two units, I'll use one with HD FREE (or ONR) and the other with

HD TOTAL which i can use for all exteriors too, plus jambs and engine bay.

That should cover my washing needs efficiently. I hope. :)

Just ordered mine this evening. I'm hoping to use this in the winter months to do cars in customers garages. I have even thought of using this instead of my pressure washer. I will give a review as soon as it arrives and I use it!

Please! Tell us how the Nomad is working out for you! Is it alot of hype? It looked like a nice piece of equipment to have. I look forward to the arrival of mine!

Mine comes in today. However, it will not be until Thursday looking at my schedule til I will get to use it. I will post my results though.

I just opened up the package as I received the Nomad today. I am really impressed with the quality. It is much better than I thought it was going to be. The hose, nozzle, and unit is high quality. I know a couple people vouched for the product, but I was still interested to see. I will be testing it out Thursday but so far this was a steal at 37 dollars.

I do have a question though for those that are using an inverter instead of the cig adapter, which one would you recommend?

I plane to use my power outlet for the first use. I don't like running equipment off my vehicle. Does anyone know where I can pick up an adapter for 110? I was going to check Pep Boys,or somewhere on line!
