Poorboy's World Products

Would anyone consider using the wash and wipe prior to claying, then clay, and use the wash and wipe again, then wax? Just curious if it really will replace the "bubble bath"

One more thing: Anyone use Poorboy's Micro-Cloth's??? Are they 100% cotton MF that everyone here recommends? If they are that good, that's a pretty good price for 6 small size towels. Thanks........:xyxthumbs

i'm prayin for your family steve.

i just thought i'd share my experience with the Spray 'n wash. When i was pouring it from my gallon jug :D into the spray bottle, it just seemed like good smelling colored water. But when i sprayed it onto my car, it foamed up slightly. That was the first hint that it wasn't just bottled water. ;) BTW, my car was VERY dirty, i'm in riverside, which is what you could call dust valley. one day here is equal to a week at home in LA).

I first tried it out on a hidden spot, and pressed too hard, and subsequently found out I had just added a bit of swirls to my car (nothing a little work with a PC can't fix :)). I tried again without ANY pressure at all, literally letting my mf cloth just barely touch the surface, and the results were simply AWESOME! I didn't feel any resistance, and the layer of dirt was GONE! And with no swirls!!!:bounce (note: it was more like a thick layer of non-hard dirt, course dust, if you can imagine that). I did my entire car with it, and it took roughly 30min. I sprayed rather generously, and I ended up taking 10ounces.

I hope that no one here has actually recommended "100% cotton MF".

By definition, the towels are a blend of polyester and polyester microfiber. Do a lttle search, read a little bit:)

The light touch is a learned art...was for me anyway. Same goes for knowing how much to use. I used an entire 16 0z. bottle on my wife's Taurus the first time I tried it. Now 4-5 oz does my f150.

I've checked over and over under some outdoor floods that show swirls like crazy and never haved I found Spray and Wipe induced swirls.

Hi bmw530i2003,

I purchased one of Poorboy's large MF towel. Very plush and soft.

It is 70/30 blend not cotton. Very nice towel. Are the small towels of constructed the same? That's something that Steve would have to answer when things become more stable at home. I personally like and use both with a very slight preference for the poly blend ( PakShak, Poorboy's and MicrofiberTech). :xyxthumbs

jimamary,

Please do your research. Microfiber is just the processing ( extremely fine fibers) of the material used not the type of material.

Read this thread about one type of all natural MF's: www.DFtowel.com.. I posted a review on this "natural fiber towel last week and there have also been some other recents threads discussing the two type of MF's available.

:wavey

Sorry jimamary, my bad with the fiber material....

Thanks blkZ28....I think the smaller towels are the same construct. I just ordered one of the MFTech elite and a waffle weave though, so I am going to try that....would certainly like to try the spray and wipe though sometime....THANKS!!!!

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the support. Your posts are great to read.

We are on day 4 of chemo and she is young and strong so we are very hopeful. She is very tired all the time now and only walks around an hour or so in the mornings. We have about 5 more cycles of 5 day treatments scheduled. Operation to remove it somewhere in there too.

Sorry I will not be answer any individual e-mails at this time but you can continue to send them and they are read.

We may have her home in a couple of days so, if it goes well I will be in touch soon. Thanks again

Steve,

My prayers are with you and your family. Sounds like you have some great products, but right now concentrate on that family of yours. The caretakers need compassion too. Hope the holidays bring great things to you and we'll worry about placing orders when things settle down a bit. May God bless you all.

First I want to say best whishes and my families prayers go out to you and your family for your daughters speedy recovery.

Secondly, I just received the following Poorboy’s products:

Poorboy’s Polish with 100% Carnauba

Poorboy’s Spray and Wipe

Poorboy’s Vinyl, Plastic and Bumper Restorer

I have not had a chance to try them all yet, but will shortly.

I did get a chance to try the Poorboy’s Vinyl, Plastic and Bumper Restorer today. I used it on a black plastic front air dam which was really nasty. All stained with brown mud residue and what looked like maybe salt stains. Just sprayed a little Poorboy’s Vinyl, Plastic and Bumper Restorer directly on and worked it in with an old MF towel. Man that air dam looked brand new. I could not believe how easy that was to clean up. I would have had to scrub my arm off with the Meguiar’s vinyl cleaner. I whish I had taken before and after pictures. You won’t believe how good it worked. That’s one product I will continue to use. Great product Steve. :xyxthumbs

Hello Autopians,

Lana came home last night, but is not really doing that well. We are expecting to return either tomorrow or Sat. if she doesn't perk up a little. Your thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated. If it quiets down I will do individual replies, until then I will post as often as possible to update. Thanks again

I have both of Poorboy's MF towels. The small ones are a much tighter weave (similar to Tascar's lower priced ones) and are great for removing Poorboy's Polish w/ 100% Carnuba. Both sides of the MF towels are the same weave. I would not use them with the Spray & Wipe. Not big enough and could not handle all the dirt that is lifted.

Steve, We continue our prayers for your daughter and the rest of your family. Wish I was a little closer to help out more.

Can someone give me the address to send my payment to Steve?

In the midst of his family crisis, I didn't get an invoice. When his life gets back in order he might need some money. If I had that address, I would send him a check.

By the way, the Wipe & Shine works great on my moderately dirty cars.

Charles, I would wait until you get an invoice. There is a slight shipping charge. I mailed my payment off on Tuesday so he has some money coming in. It might complicate things if you send in without an invoice. But if you must:

Make check payable to "California Classics"

It isn't a case of must, I just thought I should. I planned on adding $8 for the shipping of my gallon of Spray & Wipe.

There really is no problem on my part. I just like to keep my bills current. I also know that in the middle of a personal crisis, it's awfully hard to remember that the bills keep coming.

I guess I will wait a week and see what transpires.

Thanks,

Charles :wavey
