Thanks to all...Lana's surgery went very well....we will have lab reports by the end of the week, and Lana should be home by then too.

My family and I very much appreciate the support and prayers from the autopian community...

OK it's the end of the week and the lab results are in..the biopsy of whtat they removed shows NO CANCER.YES I SAID NO CANCER:bounce :bounce :bounce :bounce :bounce :bounce :bounce :bounce :bounce Thanks to all for hte support and prayers..we still have chemo starting monday as a follow up but it's looking:xyxthumbs

we are very grateful and happy to have our daughter on the road to recovery...she will now be admitted Wed. for more chemo not Monday..things change so quickly and she will be in-patient not out as originally thought...way too complicated without a full time nurse..thanks again for the prayers and support:wavey

We are very happy with Lana's progress, yet disappointed that we must continue the chemo...(starting Wed)

Hi Everyone,



I thought it was time for a quick update on my daughter. The support , prayers and some presents for her have been awesome for our moral and hers. We just finished her fourth round of chemo this past Tuesday...she has not felt very good the last few days and yesterday we were in the ER for a few hours getting her blood checked and getting fluids. Today we went back and got a transfusion.

THE GOOD NEWS IS...NO MORE CHEMO AND the Cancer is in total remission for right now. We have consulted the formost experts in the country about her condition. The bad news is that there is a 30% chance of the cancer coming back since it had spread to her lungs...in this case it could be fatal...we will be monitored for quite some time to come.

I get pm's and e-mails quite often and feel bad that I have not kept those of you interested in updates....I'm sorry and thanks again to you all...

Steve, I am glad things seem to be looking up. There will be bumps in the road to full recovery but hopefully the major battles have been fought. Will continue to keep Lana, yourself and your family in our thoughts and prayers.
