Please if your going to bring on a little fight bring it on in the open so others can see what your really like..

So you are saying Pinnacle should have named their waxes Pinnacle Signature and Pinnacle Signature 2 or Pinnacle Signature White?

I certainly don't think "Natty's" is anymore known or recognized than "Poorboy's."

Like I said, this isn't any big deal...it was just a question. Without questions, everyone would be the exact same.

The only thing I'm saying is, I don't see it as being an issue. It's just a matter of a different opinion than yours. That's all. If we all agreed with our opinions, then we wouldn't have much to discuss.:D

I agree and in my post I never alluded to anything different.:nixweiss

94 - This seems to be a circular discussion between you and I :lol

Detail Girl - I wrote that sentence myself and you are welcome to use it if you'd like.

JBM - if you don't think manufacturers using marketing (of all types), you might think about it some more. If you think there are only a few hundred detailing geeks, you don't understand the industry very well.

I don't see this thread containing anything overly negative. There are just a few simple questions and thoughts. It's just a process of exchanging ideas.

If anyone is offended, etc. they have the ability to not post/not read/realize it's just wax :)

Have a good afternoon everyone :wavey

Nothing extremely bad but since it was said by the manufacturer that Blue Natty's was formulated for dark color cars, perhaps you should've tried it first before suggesting that it might just be a color change. If someone would've said that about the other product that you drink the koolaid on-on this forum, you'd be up in arms... ;)

I *asked* if it could be the same; I didn't say that it was the same.

Talk about Zaino all you want...I use it and like it, but I use many other products, too (look for some upcoming reviews ;)).

Everyone is trying to make this into something bad when it really isn't.

Smile folks :D

What's $16 for something potentially new? At worst, it will be regular natty's(would that be so bad?!). At best, it could be just like Souveran but a whole lot cheaper. I haven't tried Natty's yet, but this is a great excuse to pick up a jar or too, especially since my car is black!:xyxthumbs

Thus the word *suggested* as posted above...

Suggesting *to me* means insinuating something. A question inquires it doesn't insinuate, IMO.

This shouldn't be an issue though.

:)

If I didn't have 4 other waxes to test right now, I might pick some of this up too, but there is only so much time and so many resources.

Patrick- Thank you.

Ever have one of those kids in your class who does anything he's able to do to get in trouble or disrupt everyone? And then when they realize they went over the line, they say something like "Oh, I'm just kidding" or give a half-assed apology to keep them selves from getting in more trouble. I hate people like that.

Is there any chance that Natty's Blue is just that...a blue colored Natty's? Much easier to change a color than a formula change.
1st sentence- question, 2nd sentence- insinuation... It's alright though it's not that serious, I'm just a little surprised at Autopia lately... Happy detailing :)

Aww, no harm no foul as like you said, it's only wax. :LOLOL

Have a good afternoon ZaneO.:D

C'mon guys, there's no need for this. Don't take this thread any further down that it has already gone. It is just wax.

All the others are Unmentioned Product loyalists, do you see the pattern?

Really thepoor boy's stuff i like is the wheel sealent (he was the first and did give 200 to disaster relief. for the two prototypes) Spray and gloss, rince, wipe. I really didn't care much for the SSR line I like IP and FPII but now I love the Big O as far as sealents go i'm a big fan of Upp and WG.. Wax I go back for Natty's...I guess I do like a number of his products but i could change out the s&g because the new DP also looks very nice as i did compare them.. I if you want me to go on I could ....

I took Chris's suggestion and deleted the post. I like your posts a lot HP. I think the comments made about Poorboys didn't deserve the negativity, what's the big deal?

I think you answered your own question. Why come up with a new name? The Natty's Wax name is well established and very highly thought off. It's great marketing to be able to play off the success of one, especially when they are so similar. It would be different if one was a synthetic sealant and the other was a carnuaba based wax, but that's not the case here.:)

Just like some of Zymol's waxes.

Clever marketing idea. :up
