03COBRA

I miss my 03 Cobra......
I have not heard anything here about the limited Blue Natty's that Poorboy's has right now, so I thought I might give some folks a heads up!

The Blue Natty's is supposed to be altered a little for darker colors. Supposed to add some depth and wetness!

Here's a link to Steve's post on another site!!

Blue Natty's

CG = Chemical Guys, they're a big bulk supplier. They do private labeling and a number of their products resemble PB's and Adam's products quite closely. However, Poorboy's does seem to offer some products that no one else has, so perhaps they rebrand a few, and make a few of their own products. Its also possible that their formulas are based closely on the chemical guys formulas, but arent exactly the same.

oh no... not again:( there is more to detailing than caring who makes the stuff... like how YOU use the stuff! if you think pb's is just CG's, then get cg's products! process>products like anthony always taught me. lets PLEASE not get into this again!:)

Why am I not surprised that Chemical Guys had to be mentioned in this thread? As of now, there is zero evidence that any of Poorboy's products come from them. The only reason that belief even exists is because of the similarity in color and description between CG's polishes and the SSR line. Nothing but speculation.

I may buy the blue Natty's next month if Steve still has it. Can never have enough carnaubas, though I also want to try the new Detailer's Pride wax.

Meh CG or not, who cares. I haven't had a problem with any PB products. In fact, I've ordered some Blue Natty's.

Also got some Max Wax on the way so it might be a nice comparison in the works.

Sheesh...just when I am about to spend money on DP's new wax...this has to come out...All these new products are making me dizzy...lol

I retracted my statement and I apologize for it. Please disregard, again I apologize.

I don't think Natty's is rebottled cheap stuff from Chemical Guys. It is a very reasonably priced high quality wax IMO. :xyxthumbs

Very nice wax for sure. I posted a picture of it yesterday but no one replied. I guess I need to use it on another dark vehicle and not the van, but so far it looks better then ever.

Is there any chance that Natty's Blue is just that...a blue colored Natty's? Much easier to change a color than a formula change.

I don't think so It might be But I don't think steve would do that just to sell 150 Jars of wax. We all know he is working with a very good checmist so i'm sure things get bounced around and weird things come out from testing from time to time..

I dont like this idea of limited edition detail products, if something is good keep making it .... its like limited edition chocolate bars that taste really good and then they stop making them. :p

I thinks this is probably more like a trial run, maybe Steve is just testing customer interest and response by making a limited run. He probably has been working on a natty's for dark colors, and just wants to see if it will sell, thus the reason for the limited sales and production run. Seems the most logical explanation to me.

I really don't know I just figured he could come up with a new name if it was a new wax.

Marketing is an interesting game. So much deception in the world causes cynical people...just my cynical side coming out.
