It depends by what you mean by "drying". It seems to appear different to most other polishes. Don't let that fool you. I know that IP looks dry and powdery very quickly after you spread it but don't feel compelled to re-wet it. I've left it go dry, gone for five minutes, came back and started buffing it again. When you work it more at a slow arm speed (even in that powdery state), it begins to liquify again at the pad edges, and after a bit more buffing, the whole area goes to a light oily liquid which can take up to five minutes to dry. Again, when in that oily state, I've gone away, did some things, came back and wiped off the oily residue with a MF and left a deep wet gloss. IP is one very deceptive puppy...that's why its so easy to use
I don't know if any of that applies to your experience with it, but if it does, I hope this helps to give it another shot.

I find FI-II takes a long time to dry up and I can work it for a long time.
I must really be doing something wrong, but I don't know what.
I also find FI-II to be much more abrasive than IP. IP IMO isn't that much more abrasive than Perfect It III Machine Glaze.
Yep, I agree. FI-II MP was more abrasive than IP, that's why I tried to use it, but stopped when I was having the gumming problems.
And IP was just a tad more abrasive than MG but very similar. :up
