Hi fellow detail junkies.
With all the holiday sales going on I thought this may be a good time to jump into some Polish Angel. I`ve read a few threads but how much do you like it over all the other great products out there? It`s a bit pricey so I want to ask my panel of experts (you guys and gals).

Yes, yes, and yes. Do I use it for average detail? Heck no won`t be appreciated but on one that will be for sure

The products are very very good. There are some stand out products that don`t equal anything else. Line engine, like theirnslritz I have white Alabaster. The look is amazing the Lesther cleaning and protecting products are awesome.

I`ll be trying hi gloss and polishes soon.

Some are and some aren`t. Just like every other line. The compound does not cut enough for my tastes (with microfiber cutting pad) and the Spray Duster was put to the rear after first use. I`m still waiting for my PA Gloss to arrive before I give it any marks. I still believe the key to any detail is prep. Get the surface scratch and mar free and almost any LSP will look fantastic even an inexpensive one. This comes from a guy that has tried most everything out there.

yes
I`m just about to order 180 bux worth of PA stuff from their US page
AND I really am considering more High Gloss from ACC because my little bottle is half gone already and I`m feeling separation anxiety, haha

i will be making PA lsp details for my price sheet now..for those clients who demand the best shine

i have been more than impressed by every pa product ive used so far

I`m gonna have to agree and disagree with your post, Bob.

I agree that prep is (easily) the most important step...BUT from a chemistry standpoint something like PA High Gloss is literally just better. Titanium/titania- whatever- in a sprayable form = ridiculousness

I`ve used some pretty pricey stuff myself. High Gloss and Zirkon are easily the best sprays I have and I`d put them up against my fanciest paste`s any day (like synergy, black ice, dodo hybrid nano, supernatural)

In the past few yearss my car has had PBL v1, Gyeon cure, Reload, EVERY Nattys wax layerd on itself, Essence, Black Ice, Synergy, PBL coating booster, DoDo Supernatural, Hybrid Nano, Blue Crush, Purple Haze and Double Wax (and I`m probably forgetting a few products)

maybe I`m becoming a fanboy or something but I really like High Gloss and Zirkon -- hell, my SRT has half a 200ml bottle of High Gloss on it- (hides in shame)
the shine from Zirkon and High Gloss are (at least to my eyes- which control my wallet-lol) a step above

once I get the rest of the products I`m ordering I`ll be doing some side by side testing on a few vehicles - mainly to test durability as testing durability on anything on one of my vehicles is essentially useless. I polished off PBLv1 at 367 days out of sheer boredom

Wow, what an endorsement. I ordered the PA gloss kit. I`m nervous because if PA lives up to the hype my wallet is gonna bi big trouble.

I have a 200 ml bottle of high gloss on the way. Can anyone tell me how much I should expect to use on an average size sedan? I also ordered Snow White wax. Has anyone had any experience with it?

Brandt, I will look forward to the side / by / side comparisons. I need to see the results in a way that`s quantifiable because the price makes me shudder. How many cars can you do with a bottle?

I agree it`s good stuff, but I`ve yet to see any side by side with other coating/booster products (and I`m still waiting for my bottle of Gloss). I`ve used Viking Spritz and it`s nice, but I just can`t pull the trigger on a $100 bottle of Gold Zircon (for me it`s a novelty item). The PA sealant is good, but a lot of sealants are good. I really like the Final Polish for the ease of removal and smell, but the Master Compound made me reach for FG 400. The Sprayduster I didn`t like at all, too thick and hard to wipe off (could be user error, lol). The Wheel Coating is ok, but I prefer Hydro2 for the easy application.

I was just responding to the OP whether PA was worth the cost or not. Is every product they make the best in the world? Probably not. When you factor in cost, is it that much better than other products? Only you can decide that. But I`m not throwing out any of my other detailing supplies anytime soon.

I still will be happy to send you some Tac Systems Quartzmax for you to do a side by side by side by side evaluation of booster products. I trust you. I know the prep work will be done right.

I used Glissante today on bare paint. It was definitely different. Very few suds, obviously from all the water softeners. No bubbles at all in the rinse bucket throughout the entire wash. Strong berry with a slight chemical smell. Consistency is about the thickness of water. While washing the wool kit almost felt grabby. It did a great job cleaning.

The water sheeted off leaving the vehicle fairly dry. I would say 90% of the water came off as advertised. When drying the waffle weave towel picked up everything. I didn`t even have to wipe the glass. It had a beautiful gloss when finished, sorry not really a picture guy. It`s been extremely dark here all day anyway. I`m sure it will rain tonight.

As far as the gloss I did use my normal mixture of Endless Shine and Uber QD strength as a drying aid after the last wash. Today I didn`t use a drying aid. Some of the gloss could be left from the endless shine, but the water sheeted better than it usually does so I have to give credit for most of the gloss and sheeting to Glissante.

This is definitely not a shampoo that I would use for every wash at a cost of between 2-3.00 a wash It was a good test using it on bare paint. looking forward to testing it on my car which currently has EXO on it. This spring it will be getting color coded Cosmic.

With the cost of this product I`ll probably only use it once with the EXO and save the rest for after I coat the car with Cosmic. I like using products as a system.

I also tried the High Gloss on another vehicle with bare paint. That`s an incredible product. I`m a huge fan of Cosmic. Easy application. Beautiful looks and hydrophobic properties. Really looking forward to trying the color coded Cosmic. It will be interesting to see on this Mosaic Black paint.

How many cars can you do with a bottle?

Have (nearly had) a 200ml bottle and did:

2016 Civic Coupe x 3
2016 WRX x 3
2004 Corvette x 2
35 linear ft of granite counter top
60 or so sq ft solid surface shower surround

Have enough left to probably do 2-3 coats on WRX or Civic.

I likely have a heavy hand though.

Hows it work on the counters?

Tops the ISM Coat and Overcoat on the granite very, very nicely. We`ll see how it holds up. Really worked great on the marbled dark blue solid surface in the shower; glossy as all get out and water just sheets off.
