I have the PC 7336 that you can get from Lowes. I apply NXT with a finishing pad. I noticed that since the pad is quite soft, the weight of the PC will squash the pad. I find that when on speed 3 or 4, the pressure of the weight of the PC will bog down the PC and keep it from spinning the pad. I then have to lift the PC up in order to get an even application of NXT. I also get this to a lesser degree with a polishing pad and speed 5. It makes it tough to apply the pressure that I'm supposed to apply when working with LSP's and polishes.
Is this normal? Anyone else experience this? If so, what was your remedy?
I know that the PC is designed to slow the rotation down if there is alot of resistance...I just didn't think it was this sensitive.
