Indeed, plus everything now a days is so blah. White, black, some crappy red and blue and silver. BORING.

I love that Dodge Charger in that kinda same color.

There's a guy around my place that has one of those Chargers. It's completely tricked out including GASP a lowered suspension and rather nice 3 pc wheels with black centers and the lips are powder coated the same color as the car. PLAIN SICK!

There is a Dodge dealer about 1 mile from my rents right off 94 in MN which is a major hwy and we go buy it weekly when we go to Sunday dinners at their house and they always have at least 3 of them sitting out there tricked out. I really am thinking about getting a Charger for a next car but Im very leary about getting a Dodge product after working with them for 3 years.

An annoyed moderator who really doesn't want to deal with (yet another) product war thread is watching closely . . . just FYI.

So, thinking about stirring up an argument? That's a paddlin'. Gonna take some potshots at someones choice of product? That's a paddlin'. Snarky remarks to the moderators? Oh, you better believe that's a paddlin'.

this made me laugh really hard, gota love the simpsons

Well, for me it is one persons opinion on a product they had experience with. Who is anyone to defer his statements. We as gentlemen should take what he says as his true experiences. No way to say otherwise. The reasoning for Anthony being banned shouldn't come into play. I like using optimum products, they are by no means superior to any other polish i have used (never used opti-seal) but being a detailer that loves to use what's best for me, I like a lot of products. There apparently several people on this forum that receive free products and return the favor by making sure everyone knows how great they are, I was unaware of this type unprofessional behavior until recently. It's pretty sick how easily someone could influence ones buying decision based on such minute reasoning. I'd love a forum that brought users to the table with the same love as much of us. It'd be nice to have a forum that forbid users that receive free products from advising new/other members toward that product. It's pretty sick if you think about it. I for one have been completely honest about everything I have used and have put the time and effort/product knowledge into every statement I have made, too bad many others attempt to feast on the unaware.

I hope you are including the beta testers of a certain product line who really hyped up a product earlier this year....

A lot of people here receive products to try, including me. When I am reviewing a product that I got free, I mention it. If the product is crap though, why would anyone hype it for more free crap?

Why make baseless accusations?

This is what this board has become. Along with the people acting like 12 year olds.

I have really grown tired of it all.

On one board they trash David B and then come over and post pictures on autopia of the cars they have done making sure to list all the products they use.

I don't get the whole Zaino us versus them and them versus us fever either. It's almost like they are two religious or political fanatic camps :\

Let's just back to the OptiSeal!

I applied it to the hood over Prime Acrylic and AJ. I didn't notice much difference compared to the rest of the vehicle which just had Prime Acrylic and AJ.

Then on another vehicle, I did a section of the hood over Prime Acrylic and AJ, and the hood just Prime Acrylic and AJ. The OS section seemed to shine better over ~3+ weeks.

I'll have to test more to determine which is better (for me at least!).

I have not found any of the WOWO products really do much for shine more just locking in things. I have found however after 3 coats of ZCS that it does really shine as opposed to the other two that get a lot of hype here.

I am the exact opposite. I find that OOS definately adds a shine, whereas my experience with ZCS was that it just locked in whatever was under it.

I should clarify: Prime Acrylic - wow, shine incredible. Added AJ, not much different. Added OS, not much different.

After ~3 weeks, section with PA+AJ+OS looked shinier felt a bit slicker than panel with PA+AJ.

On the vehicle with PA+AJ+OS on hood, it doesn't look much different from rest of body with PA+AJ, but it is harder to tell.

Anthony said he doesn't know why he was banned, but anyway. I have Opti-seal on my car for going on 4 months and it still beads very nicely. I wash my car about every other week and still looks great. Thats with 2 coats of OS I believe. My car is 12 year old single stage paint and looks better than most cars I see out there. This guy in my complex has one of those new Lexus ES350 looks sweeet but I already see swirls all over. He probably takes it down the streets to get washed and lets those kids there dry it with their dirty nonmf towels.

Thanks for the update on OS, now I can say that it is as durable a sealant as other more known and expensive sealants. Opti-Seal FTW !

To some people, having a swirl free car is not that big of a deal.

I have had mixed results with OS.

On cars that are washed weekly (garaged or non-garaged doesn't seem to matter), I got about 2 months out of the stuff. However, on my grandparents car that has seen 3 washes since OS's application (over AIO) back on July 1st, there is still beading, some slickness and a nice gloss left.

I think washing is what breaks OS down the most.

Too much politics on this board. :nomore:

It's rediculous what's allowed to get pushed and what's not allowed to get mentioned.

This thread needs to get locked.....:work: :lock:
