Scottwax said:OCW is water based so it shouldn't negatively impact anything it is applied over.
willtothewong said:how about if i were to put a coat of a nuba wax then a couple coats of ocw followed by another nuba, will the second nuba coat be worth it?
SilverJag said:I've never tried OCW, but I do use AquaWax, and have nothing but incredible things to say about it. Never streaks, good durability, augments look of vehicle, etc.![]()
:bigups:bigups I agree.yakky said:I love AW but it gives a sealant look. OCW is very similar to a good carnauba in looks.
RedlineIRL said:Thanks for the responses. Looks like I will be getting some of the OCW then. I need to order a few other things also with this, one being new microfibers. Do you all have any favorites that you like using for quick waxes like OCW?
Scottwax said:I think after you see how nice OCW looks you probably won't see a need to top it.
RedlineIRL said:Ok, you all have convinced me to try it. I have never used a spray wax before on an entire vehicle, except the closest thing to doing a whole car with is a quick detailer. That has been many years ago though. Can you all give me some tips on using it so I don't get smears and streaking everywhere? Do you all just lightly mist the entire area, or just do a couple larger pumps depending on the size? The OSW may have direction on this, but I haven't got it yet so I don't know. Just looking for some good advise if not
willtothewong said:just go light mists. i use OCW like a quick detailer. although you may not need to use as much product as you think. just make sure you spread the wax out and buff with a separate towel than the one used to spread it initially.
Scottwax said:Michael-you using the original version or the new one? I find that the new version is as easy to use as a detail spray.
