I decided to take the plunge a while ago and start a detailing business instead of just doing it for friends/family etc and have been developing my logo for some time now. I wanted something that was different to every other logo out there (i.e. a line of text with some effects added) and also something that embodied cars/vehicles (i.e. was relevant to what I was working on).
And this is what we came up with. The circle relates to the wheel, the "slats" can be side vents etc (a la M3) and the logo as a whole could be the emblem you get on the front/rear of cars etc. The company name simply came from wanting to tell people what I did without having to add a strap line, and also wanting to distinguish me from "valeters". In the UK anybody who "cleans" cars gets labelled a valeter, but I wanted to be separated from the $5 swirl-o-rama hand wash places etc.
Opinions? And please say what you think, I'm always open to criticism (so long as it's positive!).
