Opinions on high end Zymol waxes and glazes?

HotRodGuy,

You're right, that wasn't my best post ever.

My point was that using phrases such as "you don't know what you're talking about" and "shut your mouth" in any context is going to come off as rude, arrogant, and authoritarian, and it's not conducive to polite conversation. Unfortunately, neither is sarcasm very polite, so mea culpa on that one.

However, I will say this without reservation, and having never tried $1400 Zymol: IMO, it's overpriced. There's no amount of shine that any product could impart to my paint to make that cost worthwhile to me. Some extravagances are just, well, too extravagant. I see nothing hypocritical in holding the opinion that Zymol is too expensive without having ever tried it, because that opinion is based on my own perceived cost/value ratio. I know I can get amazing results with proper prep, and a $15 jar of S100 or a $13 tin of #16: low cost, high value, good ratio. Unless I'm confident that estate Zymol, costing nearly two orders of magnitude more than S100 or #16, can provide value commensurate with the "It's better 'cause it's expensive" pricing, the closest I'll get to Zymol is walking past the Zurtle Wax at Wal-Mart.
