I purchased a pair of Oakley Half Wires over a year ago. Recently I noticed the lenses developed what looked like spider wed shaped cracks at the point where the arm attaches to the lens on both lenses. I phone Oakley Tuesday and tell them about it and the rep says to mail in my glasses and they will check them out. If it is an manufacturer defect they will replace the lens for $29.00 CDN even though they are out of warranty. I said great. I sent them in Tuesday express mail so they would arrive yesterday. I phone today to see if they arrived and the rep asks for my case # and puts me on hold. While I'm on hold there is a knock at the door and the mail lady is there with a package from Oakley. I thought why is this package being returned to me? I take the package and bring it in the house and get back on the phone just as the customer rep is getting back on the phone (good timing). He says that they replaced the entire pair of glasses no charge. I said I just received them while I was on hold. He said it was obvious my glasses were well cared for and that it was a manufacturer defect and they weren't proud of it. Replaced the set of glasses no charge and delivered to my door in less than two full days. Just when I thought good customer service was a thing of the past I get very pleasantly surprised. Made my day. :bigups :bigups :bigups :bigups :bigups :bigups :bigups For Oakley.
