Newbie with some questions

I'm sorry- I stand corrected. Just pulled the goods out for a photo... I was wrong. Velcro backer IS larger than Velcro on pad....

I'll shut up now.

I think you have B & S 5.5" pads? (Didn't look back through the post). If so, I picked up the 500-Y (5" B & S backing plate).

Not yet- bought the HF DA machine and a handful of their pads. So- whatever/whoever makes them...

Hello again! I wanted to follow up. Today I clayed my car and did my test spot! I was really apprehensive at first, but All went well and I have some pictures

I know the pictures kinda suck, they are with my phone while I was working. I'll have to see if I feel like busting out my big camera in a little bit

Back again. This time I did my whole hood, roof and, trunk lid. After this I really started getting tired, and applied POXY. I also wanted to let you guys know that I am really glad you recommended a heavier cutting product. (HD CUT). I actually ended up only one stepping those areas with hd cut. I was really impressed with how it finished. I didn't notice any micro marring or hazing even in the sun. I do plan to finish compounding the whole car and then polishing. For now though I am very pleased with how much better my car looks and also how much better it feels! I'll post some pictures when I can. its been a busy week
