Sarge- yeah, with the hard paint of the C5 you will probably need to use the MG more than once to get everything just right. I would try a pass with the RC/white combo to get the worst of it and then switch to the MG.



FWIW, I can never see flaws under fluorescent light. Halogens or even regular tungsten/incandescent lighting works *so* much better for me. I have dozens of 8' tubes in my shop, but when I want to inspect paint I turn them off and use the other lights.



And after I look at a vehicle for hours on end, it's amazing how I sorta "stop seeing what I'm looking for". Heh heh, it's not just you ;)

I reapplied the MG and it was the ticket! I might go as far as saying I finally beat the black!!



My lower back is just recovering from all this but it's been worth it. Thanks for your and JBM's help. It's greatly appreciated! :xyxthumbs
