New ONR forumulation!?

I just got an email from Autogeek with their deals and whatnot. Included was

"Close-Out Prices On Optimum No-Rinse Wash & Shine! A new formula is coming soon! Stock up on the original at close-out prices."

Is there any news on this? Dr. G did not mention anything about this, and ONR is already on a newer revision if I remember correctly.

It is interesting that Dr. G. didn't mentioned anything about a new ONR.

Having said that, I received an e-mail via the Optimum Newsletter in December, which indicated there would be new products released in 2010.

While briefly discussing waterless wash products, here is a quote from that e-mail "Optimum has been developing a waterless product for some time that can be used on cars with heavy build up without harming the paint. As with No Rinse, the advances in polymer technology are making it possible to encapsulate dirt with less water. So for those users who need or want such a product, we will be adding a new waterless wash to the line up in the near future."

I'm guessing if there is a new "waterless" wash product, Optimum may have felt regular ONR was duplicative, and decided to discontinue. Hope this helps.

There is a big difference between waterless and rinseless though. And last night Dr. G did mention that will be coming out soon as well as 1 more product that he would not disclose.

I am excited to hear about a waterless wash but, I hope they continue to make ONR because, I use ONR as a clay lube and QD.

I agree. The new product may have different dilutions for various applications i.e. clay lube, ID, and rinseless and waterless may be among them. It's hard for me to believe Optimum would stop making ONR w/o anything to replace it.

It could be it has more new colors for the new ONR? but I don't know. Have to wait for the new product to arrived here at PAC........................:wizard:

I'm thinking that since ONR is their biggest selling product, that it isn't going anywhere. Although, I am not quite sure how they can improve on an already GREAT product. Can't wait to see what they come out with.:Dancing Dot:

:iagree:

ONR is just perfect for me (for certain situations) so an improvement on it would be much anticipated.

In our chatroom on Tuesday Dr. G said that one of the newest products coming out will be a WATERLESS wash, I believe called Poli-Wash. I believe this in addition to the new ONR formulation.

Guys,

While placing our first order with OPT, Dr. G. mentioned he had new products coming out. The newer version of ONR came out sooner than anyone expected and will be available soon. We, as everyone else, have the current version in stock. While we have a limited supply, it is a good thing for you. You get to purchase a product you know and love CHEAP. Make the order $39 and it ships free, (see details of free shipping on our site).
The latest version retains the same bottle, labeling, (with the addition of a sticker indicating the new version), new fragrance, and better lubricity. MSRP will remain the same.

Thanks for the heads up Jack. I still find it amazing that they have found a way to improve on an already great product:w00t:

The new version sounds like a good product to perfect your "closeout" sales. Practice makes perfect, you know...
