wow! everyone is so cool here, thanks again for the compliments! I've been checking out a lot of people's rides on here and they are just astounding!
hope you guys will have patience with me as I will probably be asking A LOT of questions. I feel like a total newb when it comes to washing my car. Right now I live in an apartment, but I have a subterranean parking setup with my own locker. For washing my car, I've been going to the coin-op wash to use the nozzle and I know better than to use the foam brush :nono. I bought those yellow microfiber towels from costco and I use those to spread the soap around the car with the high pressure soap. Then I do a high pressure rinse, and follow it with a final rinse (to minimize water spots). Then I use a california water blade to get most of the water off, usually the windows, hood, roof. And then I use more of those MF towels to dry the rest. I made the mistake of buying an absorber before I did a search on here and I read a lot of negative experiences with those. I also felt a little iffy when I used mine for the first time. Plus I got jipped because I bought it from a boat supply store, the same place where I picked up my aero 303 protectant, and they charged me 20 bucks for the absorber!! I later found out that it's half that price. Now after doing some research on here I learned about the WW MF towels that everyone is talking about. I found a lot of posts on here regarding brands like sonus and pakshak. anyways, I was thinking about going the zaino route. The only thing that's stopping me is buying the right drying/polishing towel. A local zaino dealer also supplies martex atelier and df concours. Should I just buy those?
MrLEXUS2u- Hey I know exactly which studio you're talking about!

I actually want to get tickets for a taping of king of queens because my gf and I love that show. Thanks for the heads up about the chemical guys, these guys seem hardcore and seem to know their stuff. That PC you're talking about is something I'd be interested in doing later (I love gadgets and tools!).
BlackSunshine- Haha, funny you mentioned the clearbra. I'm already ahead of the game and got full frontal coverage (i.e.- hood, fenders, bumper, headlights, mirrors) right after I bought it. I am worred though that when I do my claying/waxing, that the clay/wax will get stuck in the edges and corners of the clearbra. I'm not looking forward to that and I'm hoping I can learn about some techniques people that have clearbra have done. Right now I'm thinking it will be a pain!
White95Max- Thanks man, I remember reading your thread from a search about how you bought your protege and basically brought it back to life. I just wanted to give you props for that one :xyxthumbs
Wangatang- hey fellow Z'er!
