My 2006 Honda is a billit silver color and although not white of course it is very, very light. I've tried lots of stuff over the past year and for a light color here is what I find works best for me.
I won't go into prep as everyone knows that is most important. I go with AIOx2 then SGx3 spaced 12 hours apart. If it were a darker color I might go with a carnuba wax but that would hinder my "rejuvenating" efforts. I say that because I use a home brew of 3 parts distilled water to 1 part SG in a mister bottle after most every wash. This works like many "topper" products such as Sonus Spritz, Wolfgang Spritz, Menzerna HGAS and Duragloss' Aquawax. It gives added protection and enhanced gloss and there is no bonding issues since it is part SG afterall.
My home brew does not clean very well so I always use Poorboys SW as my primary quick detailer. I think on a lighter color, the steps and products I mentioned will give you good protection for at least six months and enough "pop" to make any detailer proud!
