I was waxing a car the other day and started to chuckle at how far I have come with my knowledge in detailing.
I thought it would be fun/funny to hear what you used to think about what products or processes did. Here is one of mine, even though Im a little ashamed of it.
There was a time when I thought......
1. Wax/sealants helped to prevent scratches and chips in my paint.
2. A old bath towel made a wonderful drying towel for the vehicles.
3. Old white t-shirts were wonderful for removing the thick layer of wax I had applied.
4. Armor all made a wonderful interior/exterior dressing, I had gallons!
What about you?
I dont know where the wax preventing scratches came from, probably some crazy infomercial.
