well i had this client that said she wanted her car completley done, the works, so i took on the challenge. i must say, this is a challenge for me. i first tried a yellow LC cutting pad at 1500rpms w IP but it wasnt cutting it, so i stepped up to a wool pad. i didnt make too much progress after day one, did the interior and finished compounding the front end.

this is after day one, day two is today and hopefully i will be able to finish

The interior was pretty bad but the paint... :scared:

Honestly, I can't imagine anyone letting a car get that bad and be willing to pay what it costs to restore the finish to as close to 100% as possible-let alone then maintain it at that level when you finish. I wonder what made her decide to have it detailed after all that neglect?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the after shots. :)

I think that has to be one of the worst exteriors i have ever seen. Goodluck.

What do you use on the carpets/mats to get those stripes? A steam cleaner?

PROCESS:

NXT Wash

DP Clay w NXT as lube

IP via Rotary 1500rpms Wool Pad

IP via Rotary 1200rpms White Polishing Pad

PO106FF via PC White Polishing Pad

RMG via PC White Polishing Pad

EX Sealant and OCW to remove

Tires and Wells got Bold n Brite

Windows got Stoners Invisible Glass

i would say about 98% of swirls removed

GSRstilez: i did remove the spoiler

evenflow: i use the Bissell Little Green Cleaning Machine when doing the carpets, just go one way and then go the other way, i think it looks professional

Nice job :up and you're not kidding , that's a couple of days' worth of work. Do you use the standard, typical LC wool pads? I haven't touched one of those in a long time.

WOW!

What cleaner with the LGCM did you use on the mats?

i used DP Carpet and Upholstrey Cleaner on the mats then just hot water in the LGCM with a few sprays of folex in there
