My thoughts on Zaino products/ Very impressed

You have given me a use for those towels. I have not used them yet, never could find a use for them.

Z5pro and Z2pro are pretty much perfect-they apply and remove so easily and streaking isn't an issue with thin coats. Adding Z8 completes the look. I've found that using a grey Target suede MF for spreading Z8 makes it easier to work with. I think Sal is near a point of hitting the wall. These products are so good there doesn't seem to be much room for improvement.

Yes, once you try Zaino there is NO going back to anything else. :up

I have misted my applicator with Z6 to help it spread.

I have misted/cleaned the paint with Z6 before application to help it spread.

I have misted with Z8 after a wash or after a coat of Z2p or Z5p but I have never poured Z8 in with Z2p or Z5p and ZFX. :nixweiss

I am guessing it probably won't hurt anything but probably not necessary.

you can dilute Z6 and Z8 with distilled water. I added roughly 1/3 more water to my Z6 and it works well.

On my last order from Sal I purchased three bottles of Z6. I put the Z6 in a 32 ouncebottle and put distilled water to fill the remainder. Have only used it once on the wife's car but I believe that it is working adequately. I follow with Z8. I use way to much Z6 that is why I am experimenting.

Now back on track. Rydawg, I am happy that Zaino recieved you well. You are preaching to the choir as far as its merits. I am glad that you liked the results. Beading pictures would be nice.

The only other sealant that I do love is the fk1 1000p paste sealant, but it is a pain to put on and take off. Z-5 pro came very very close to the same thick shine in 3 hours less time and I still have my arm left. 1000p has a very unique thick glow and z-5 pro came in almost tie and trust me that was a hard to glow to beat. fk-1 1000p is way to much work and Z-5 pro is easy on easy off. z-5 pro is now a winner!

If you use the pc to apply, it is not only faster, but very easy to remove.

I (like many others) was a HUGE doubter for years. Z this, Z that. etc...

I really didn't feel like joining 'The Z Cult':hm

Ha!

I used to wonder why folks had strong opinions of Zaino -but I don't any longer.

Zaino is 'The Benchmark'.

RDF #49... (and countless other boutique products) are nice products -but nothing on the market distinguishes its-self like Zaino. Zaino lives up to the hype -period. :bounce

Zaino seams to be the best stuff out there in my opinion, why doesn't Autopia or autogeek sell it? Then I could get all my stuff in one place.

I now know I am a true Zaino Zealot as I just got a new set of rims (19" OZ Supperleggera III) with painted black centers and the first thing I did was 3 coats of Zaino!

Just to add to the "testimonials", I used Z-5 and Z-2 on my 2006 IS350 (dark gray) last weekend, and the results were fantastic. Subjectively, I found the look to be far superior to the AIO + Souveran I had been using, and easier to maintain.

I still like AIO, and Souveran is an experience in itself, but Zaino produces results that cannot be ignored. It rained for a couple of days after application, and I'm not planning on needing to reapply this weeked like I would with Sourveran.

AIO plus Souveran was my carnauba formula (based on David's Perfect Shine formula) before I discovered Z-2 Pro which brought the flakes out even more.

I have yet to try Zainos but looking forward to getting some soon. This is what im looking at for the paint detail.

Z7 show car wash

Z18 clay bar

Menzerna IP

ZPC or Z AIO

Z3 polish

Z CS

FINISHING OFF- Z8

If I use menzerna IP and follow that up with ZPC is that overkill?

I agree with everyone Zaino is one of, if not the best. I have been using it for 4+ years and love it. Looking forward to using ZPC.:getdown

I would not say overkill, I think following up IP with a finish polish would be good. IMHO I don't care for ZCS, not that it is a bad product, it just did not really add to the looks at all, but the durablity seems good.

I have talked to both sides about this. Sal does not want to have any other "etailer" selling it right now.
