I don't understand how you can work directly in the sun, especially if you're in Texas. I spent hours doing my first detail and my face was dripping constantly under the carport.

Then again, you're in Arlington and I'm in Houston.

I grew up in Phoenix. I laugh at upper 90s to low 100s. :tumblewee

Honestly, it doesn't even bother me I am so used to it and it beats the crap out of doing this when it is 35 degrees with 30 mph north winds. Clearkote and Poorboy's products work great in the full sun, only the glass can be tough to get completely streak free without going over it a couple times. Good thing I have my kids working with me now, I can use them as spotters when cleaning the rear glass and windshield.

Ya, I envy your abilty to work in the sun like that. It kills me *and* I have product issues. PB's and Opt compounds are ok, as are clearkote and pb's waxes/sealants, but almost all my qd's streak up a storm and it's tough to wash even with ONR. Big thumbsup for handling it so well.

I think the big difference between Houston and Phoenix & Arlington is that the Humidity down here is horrible. Today, the humidity is at 72%, making it feel like it is in the upper 90s, and there are times where humidity is higher. Regardless, you create fantastic results in this Texas weather.

I do agree that it is better working on a car in hot weather than cold weather. :werd:

In early May, it was 96 with 60%+ humidity, the heat/humidity index was 109!

It isn't as humid here as Phoenix but it can be pretty bad at times.
