My Garage Mahal

My name is Mike
This all started innocently enough: epoxy the floors. After 3 unsuccessful attempts (would not stick to the floor no matter what prep went into it), went with the super-dense tile. And then the upgraded stainless sink and commercial hose reel. And then the hot water heater (the inline couldn't keep up). Then the custom cabinetry and extra electrical. Then recovering from the chaos and finding (most) of my detailing gear. A year plus later, finally finished and got it mostly organized. Weather willing, should be posting much more regularly.

The first upgrade was actually going 6x triple T8 6500K fixtures. (Not shown.)

Still having trouble embedding the pics in the thread so made another video.

Thanks. Were I to traditional wash, it would easily run off to the driveway. Normally, I would traditional wash in the driveway and rinseless or waterless in the garage.

Nice garage. Really like your organization. Only thing I have left in mine is the floor, all the rest pretty much the way I want it. Don't have the same problem as you, I have Epoxy that was great but now needs redone after 17 years. I want to go non-skid ceramic tile but my wife thinks that's overboard. Industrial epoxy isn't far away in price and I'd have to grind the floor. I just pulled 200A power in for the first time since we bought the house. What builder thinks a 15a overhead and a 15a wall plug are enough for a 2 car garage?

I went with 4x similar lights you're running but mine are quad bulb. White light isn't it?

Thanks jtford95, Pat and Ccrew.

Theoretically it was the industrial stuff. The contractor thinks it might have been related to a water-based formula he used. In any event, like the tile much better.

wow mike, all that hard work really paid off. oh yeah and thanks, now I can be really depressed when I look a my garage. :wow: :passout:

Your garage looks amazing Mike! Very organized and you have a good amount of storage. The tile floor looks great too!

BTW, glad to see you posting again!

Nice and neat.

You have a lot of Werner stands...saves having to move them while using them.
