Morbid it was me mentioning the top of the line products on audiworld. My handle on audiworld is SLVR6. I would use the Hi-temp products with a rotary though

Well what do you know, I checked my emails you answered and there it is in your sig "TopNotchDetail". What up P?

Yes I do have a Rotary (DW-849) and would definitely use that for the Exterme Cut. I brought a PC when Lowes was having that sale and it's still sitting in the box.

On the roof of my > 6 month old Audi, I have some funky type of marring/scratches. Can't feel them with my fingernail and they are not fine. The best way I can describe it is that they look like something with paws was up there doing the bugaloo.

I've hit these spot's with 3M SMR, RC and finally tried some 3M Imperial Microfinishing Compound w/a wool pad.

The last combo worked, but not after several passes and the dust is a bit too much. Not to mention it hazed up more than I would like and that was a b*tch to get back.

So that was why I emailed you about your post on AW.

Yeah the wool pad is def the last resort, I try never to go that far. I had the same problem on my trunk lid, it looked like small fury creature may have taken a walk on the car when I left it out a night or two. I reommend using the light cut first with a white pad, if that does not work use a orange/yellow pad with the light cut and then try the same with the extreme, white pad first and then if not sucessful go with the orange/yellow pad. I hope this helps, if you have any questions email me and I will shoot you my phone number. Talk to you soon.
