Man you come back to all this. after what you went though i'm surprized your still taking the time to type the answers..

I hope you feel well.

Man, I feel great, thanks for asking! The first month was tough. Someone told me 3 weeks, 5 weeks, 8 weeks 12 weeks are the levels at which you feel better, I'm just past 8. The first thing I asked at my 2 week followup was if it was OK to wash the car, since it didn't involve heavy lifting...

This stuff here, all back in perspective again.

Funny though, I'm used to saying that the car either shines or it doesn't and everything else is posturing. But this calls that doctrine into question; can a process produce shine now at the expense of the paint later? Maybe I've reduced it too much, to too much simplicity.

And regarding the dreaded FILLERS... if you think about it, what should you do if marring and swirling is so bad that it would remove too much paint or clearoat? At that point, aren't you better off with a product that isn't as aggressive, and that leaves somthing behind rather than levels paint to failure, or just short of failure?

The type of personality that is drawn to this sort of thing is also the type that likes to have things in little boxes, all clear and cut and dried; this works, that doesn't, the only answer is to level paint. Too bad the world isn't all ones and zeros like that; at our level of existence the world is analog, not digital, and every problem is unique, and only approximately fits the patterns we've learned to recognize and apply. So when something blows apart the boxes, it also blows our minds.

In my mind this hoopla is a non-issue. IMO nothing is proven, and nothing is rebutted. I have procedures I use to get the results I want. So let's all head on down to the lake and have a barbecue, because life's for living, not arguing over the internet.

Ya'll know what gets my pulse up now? It's that I am close to 5 days now waiting for an "OK" to post at this site!!!! I may never even post over there but this is just really odd....is it all about being in the "club"?

I even sent a message to them through their "Contact Us" link and still no reply, nadda, zip, zilch. :nixweiss

Has anyone else, who has registered recently, been allowed to post, is this a normal time frame?

Hello Realtycar,

For all your enthusiasm and hardwork, always remember this quote from a great genius: "Great spirits will always encounter violent opposition from mediocre minds". Or like Sam Walton (RIP) said there are disbelievers ".....appointed to guard the past.......". Thanks for your effort and enthusiasm, the world needs people like you. Enjoy.

I've been waiting as well (as long as you). Haven't heard a word.

Well, no need to watch TV for a few weeks.... I had all the drama I could handle for a while. Incredible how easy is to deceive people. Some good shots aided by the proper lightign and angle, and suddenly you are a mesiah with the wrong words.....

I would say let's waste no more time.... let them convince themselves. As a matter of fact, some of you will for sure get additional business from BMW M owners :D So let's encourage the liar ;)
