That job, especially on such a high end car, should have been done inside. Now with that being said, if the person would not have painted the quarter on that MBZ, the Used Car Manager would have somebody else to do it.
Face it guys - this kind of hack, keeps us all in business. A large part of my business is repairing cigarette burns in cloth seats. 40% of the time I run into people putting RTV into a burn & sprinkling with fibers. What happens when the RTV cures? Thats right, it shrinks. I get called in to fix the burn correctly. This type of scenario is how we all stay busy.
Burns, overspray, swirl marks, they are all awesome!
