Scottwax said:I still regularly use #16. Great wet shine, excellent durability. Protects well against bird bombs and beads for months.
I think I may have found a way to extend my stock of #16 as well. I had a can that was about 30% full and mixed in some FK's Pink Wax into it (maybe an 80/20 ratio with 80% being #16). Goes on and off just as easily and has an even wetter shine. Both products are durable on their own, I am interested in seeing how this hybrid holds up. I already have it on a few regular's cars so I can monitor durability.
Read this old thread.... this is the one that got people into mixing the waxes:jaobrien6 said:Very interesting... how exactly did you mix them together? did you heat it up at all? Or just kinda chop it up and mash it together?

Scottwax said:I have about 2 1/2 tins and my younger son has a nearly full tin. As you can see in the previous post, Mike Phillips has all the #16.

fdizzle said:you bad man! you revealed the only hope in the world of me getting this - and shame on MIke Phillips for never learning to share . . . . hahah - just kidding. Well I aint gonna lie - XTAHOEX found the same place I did - its in the UK and I am waiting for an email from them to see if they have any. Perhaps I will actually get a tin before all you nutheads take a concord jet over there and walk into their storage facility via gunpoint . . . .
Just put a WTB/Trade ad in The Trading Post forum. The stuff is still around, the trick is finding a place that still has some in stock. Meg's #16 lasts almost forever, so even if you find a 1/2 tin, as long as it has been kept sealed, you'll be OK and still have enough to last for a long time.fdizzle said:you bad man! you revealed the only hope in the world of me getting this - .........
