Menzerna's FMJ

I use the FMJ over the final polish II also by Menzerna. To maintain it, I have been using the Duragloss Aqua Wax. I get atleast 3 months usually more.

poor durability; nice slickness, but loses slickness quickly; easy application; IMO, I prefer the look of 4UPP and poorboy's EX-P better on silver and white cars, but for some reason, FMJ looks amazing on bronze and orange hue colors.

And on Metallic Black?

In my experience with my DD, FMJ amplifies metallic black better than others I hv tried. It made my NHB honda look blue because of the flake.

My tests brought about a solid 3 months of beading with FMJ, then it diminished heading towards month 4. Super easy on easy off product

This all I needed to hear. My experience with FMJ was the same. Easy on and easy off. ONe of the softest, slickest finishes I've felt to date.

2-3 months is all I need since I reapply for my customers every month.

What is the best product to maintain that finish? I have heard tha the FMJ doesn't last very long. Is it best to use HGAS? AquaWax (AW), Z8, Sonus Acrylic? I am just curious as to what woul dlook the best with it and last the longest.

don't know if ya got your pm, but sending ya a bottle of FMJ.. you'll like it...

The 32oz bottle is $49.95, the 16oz $39.99. Obviously the 32 oz is the way to go if you use it alot, makes the price more reasonable....Agree Justin

Who uses this and what are your opinions of it?

Durability?

Do you use it alone or top it?

Thanks guys,

Justin

I had the whole FMJ kit, shampoo,FPII , glaze and FMJ. I sold it a while back.

My observations were that it initially looked good and kind of slick , but after a few washes it was gone. Looks were a little sterile and plastic. There are much better on the market

( Zaino ) for both looks and durability. The CMA ads are very inviting, but I have learned to look through the hype.

"The CMA ads are very inviting, but I have learned to look through the hype" Amen bro, they have a neat web site and are very convincing and the time I ordered stuff from them I was very pleased, but their "house" brands are pricey and Menzerna is just high anywhere you find it. I guess I'll stick to good ol cheap DG 105.

Hey, if i could get a free sample i would try it for sure. Im not brand loyal by any means, but with price and quality i always try to find the happy median. As far as i can tell from this thread alone is that FMJ isnt really a long distance runner but looks great.
