Menzerna from Autogeek & Proper Auto Care

Whether Shakespeare wrote them or Jim Croce does it make the play any less great? This is my point.

In the end aren't we all in it for great looking, shiny cars. I know that's why I do it (along with the fact that I enjoy the process and trying new products). So at least to me the performance of the product is what's important. If other people want to talk conspiracy theories then fine but personally I'm not interested. Maybe Poorboy's products are actually made by aliens on a UFO :o

That's what I'm saying. So long as the plays are good, right? Wrong. To me, at least. To a lot of people, as well. But not to you. That doesn't make you are me any less of a person. We're just different people who care about different things.

To some people, it matters. It just does. Don't want to sound like a **** but honestly, if you don't care, you can stop posting. Trying to find out why someone else cares is futile since you're ultimately different people with different values.

Please excuse me. I am SO sorry. I thought I was on a website where people are here to learn about detailing. Apparently it's not about that but rather conspiracy theories and corporate intrigue. I feel awful that my posts about how to make your car shiny have detracted from the real goal of people here. Thank you for setting me straight. I did not intend to distract people from the search for the Poorboy's factory or the chemical analysis to find out which Menzernas are made in Germany and which are not.

At your request, I will no longer post in this thread. Have a great evening! :bigups

Excellent. That gives me advantage of having the last post :D

First off, I'll point out that this sub-forum is not the forum to "learn about detailing." That would be the "Car Detailing" sub-forum. This is the "Detailing Product Discussion" forum. There's no limit on what aspect of the product we can discuss so it's not beyond the realm of reasonable expectation to find a discussion about the origin of a product.

Secondly, it's obvious I did not "set you straight," even if I ignored your sarcasm and took that post at face value. You say all this stuff about distracting people from the actual detailing as if my point were that all the "conspiracy theories and corporate intrigue" were more important than detailing. I never said that and superbee never said that. You pulled points out of nothing to argue. I only say that people care about things sometimes for no other reason than simply, that they do.

Oh, and I forgive you for whatever you're sorry.

FPII is not really a Menzerna product, but a product manufactured by CMA.

Well it's quite true that if a product works well, then it works well regardless of who makes it and where it comes from.

On the other hand, manufacturing your own product, and claiming that it is made by a well known company, and putting this company's name on it, when in fact is not made by said company constitutes fraud.

I don't personally care who actually makes the product, what is important is that if a company is making the same product for several resellers who mark up the price - then I want to buy from the source, cut out the middle-man and save money. In regards to Menzerna - I just bought my first bottle - a quart of IP..........uh, what da? little lable says made in yo-mammastan!
