Menzerna from Autogeek & Proper Auto Care

I thought there was some FP difference...that CMA had FPII and AG only has the original FP, which of course is not what Menz calls them.

FPII is not really a Menzerna product, but a product manufactured by CMA.

That's what CMA would like you to think. PO85U would be FPII, a Menzerna Pro product from Germany.

106ff is only available in the 32 ounce bottle. Blackfire's version is available in the 16 ounce bottle. They aren't the same from reading the description.

Not exactly, but extremely similar. BF's has more lubricity, otherwise Sean (G35Stylez) has said the difference is extremely hard to tell.

Phil is great. I ordered some PO85RD from him a while ago and he shipped it out immediately and I had it practically next day because he is in NJ and I am in MA.

Sorry to interupt this discussion on the Menzerna products.

Joshtpa, please tell us where you got this information about FPII not being a Menzerna product. Do you have special knowledge, or are you a chemist? Do you have any other information on Menzerna products that you would like to share with the forum?

I look forward to your answer.

Jeff Silver

President, Menzerna USA

FWIW, the two square bottles I have from PAC (IP and FPII) both say "Made in Germany", although the label appears to be specific to PAC.

Jeff,

I'm curious . . . can you explain what the deal is with PO106FF. Why is it available both in the square bottle and in the round bottle?

Either way after the recent events with CMA here on Autopia I think my money would be better spent with other retailers.

In light of the recent post by DavidB, I will move back to neutral on this. *I* have a feeling that the "shill" is right here among us.

Menzerna is a professional/industrial polishing materials company. We have traditionally sold our products in a simple package that only facilitated ease of use, transport, and packaging. There was a request from CMA to market this professional use product to the consumer, and since packaging and appearance was thought to be an issue, we agreed to have it bottled in a consumer friendly, attractive package. Any Menzerna product with the same name, sold either in a square or round bottle is a Menzerna factory produced product. There is nothing more to it, and you can rest assured that you are receiving the same high quality German made product.

Phil is great. Easy going, wealth of information and very flexible. He has my business over and over again.

Thank you for clearing that up.

Thanks for the explanation.

Personally, I MUCH prefer the round bottle. It's hard to get that last little bit of polish out of the square bottle because of it's shape. Also, the spout on the cap is a little narrow and seems to get really "farty" at the end of the bottle. Of course, the label on the square bottle is more eye pleasing and IIRC has more information. Just a little feedback. ;)
