Hey Gang, just wanted to share my detailing experience I recently had with my recent purchase of blackfire wet diamond, midnight sun wax, and there gloss enhancing polish. To start with my car is a 2014 bmw mineral grey f30, I have maintained the paint meticulously, with meg, clay twice a yr, meg, cut polish as needed, meg, pro polish, meg ultimate wax, and always washed with meg ultimate car wash, its detailed three to four times a week with megs ultimate clean, I have 20 to 30 meg 2020 microfiber towels.. Engine is cleaned by hand and always detailed with chemical guys engine detailer.... Car looks immaculate every day.. rain or shine...
So iam at a new detailing shop in Edmonton and they tell me about how I can achieve a "wetter" cleaner look, He tells me about the blackfire line and I dump a 150 bucks and pick up the three said products. I get home and start by washing my car, clay the car, then drying it with my micro towels .. then I drive it in the shop and let it air dry for an hr.. Now the blackfire touch... The metal should be clean now from the clay bar, so I got out my meg dual action power polisher put on the white polish pad and start applying the polish, machine set to 4, went over each area 4 to 5 times, let It sit for about a min, then wiped it off. I will admit the longer it sits the tougher it is to remove.. So now that the car is polished, time to add the wet dimond. I remove the white polish pad and add a black wax pad, slow the machine down to 3 and start adding the product.. I go over the area twice then wipe off with the microfiber towels. This product I put on quick and remove quick no hazing period.. Now that that`s compete I started on with the wax, This time I did it by hand with the applicater in the package from Blackfire. Applied the wax in a specific area then removed asap with fresh micro towels. Total clean time 5 hrs.
So after all that work and money how does it look compared to the meg job that my car normally has.. Well my car sits at about a 8 to 9 out of ten.. yes its THAT clean.. after the Blackfire 9.1. Yes it is better but soooooo miniscule my camera couldn`t see a difference.... So my take is this , if you maintain your car properly and with a quality product, you will due just fine.. Its nice to wear a A.lange and Sohne watch, at $47000, but a Rado does the same thing at $3000,
