Megs Foam Applicators at Wal*Mart -- GONE?

I'm heading to my local Wally's World (wish me luck! the empty part of the parking lot always seems mysteriously filled with shopping carts, since no one parks out there... ???...) to check. I'll let you all know what I find.

Thats what im starting to think too.

That and considering the time of year it is im sure they arent trying hurry to get them restocked.
 
I went by a new Wal*Mart, didn't have it. Went to Pep Boys and Advance Auto Parts, no luck either.



I found one pack at Pep Boys, but they were wanting $3.49 for it. Not worth it.

Before long they will be selling for how much a can of #16 is.:)
 
Just picked up the last package at Wally World for $1.50..had a red 'clearance' sticker price.



I don't see Meg's getting rid of them..they're kind of a staple.



ADS is still selling them. 2 for $1.99, 4 for $3.59
 
My local WM does not carry them anymore and they re-designed the entire car care section. On the bright side, they now carry a lot more Mothers products including SynwaxFX. I'm hoping they bring other products from the FX line.
 
well, I went today, and no luck :(



There were a few empty spots of products which were out of stock... I didn't take a close look, but I didn't find any tags related to meg's or foam...



It seems all the auto stores only stock stupid microfiber apps now. It's all good for liquid or spray products, but they are really bad for putting on paste waxes.
 
I wonder if one can request a certain product to be stocked at their local Wal*Mart?

i highly doubt it, i think wal-mart chooses what they will carry as they have that kind of power...
 
About 3 weeks ago WM in Mt Airy Maryland had about 20 packs, last week they didn't have any! I never bought any because they would just be there later and I would get them then !

Bah, i went to my local PBE store and bought a 4 pack for $3. The owner told me he will always sell the 4 packs so not to worry, he will always have them for me.

I think what he meant is if W-M still has it in their distribution system, can he ask the manager of the local store to get some in. As I understand it, the individual managers have some discretion as to what they have in their store, based on what they feel their customers want.

yeah it's wierd, my local WM doesn't stock them anymore either (haven't for the longest of time). instead they have a bunch of their type of branded items on the shelf (brushes, mitts, etc)...
