Megs Foam Applicators at Wal*Mart -- GONE?

I am a big fan of the Megs Gold Class foam applicators they sell at Wal*Mart. I would always buy them for $1.67 for two of them. Now I cannot seem to find them anymore. Did they stop carrying them?

I've seen them carry it off and on. Maybe they don't carry too much of it in stock and so it takes longer to replenish/restock.

I've been to four Wal*Marts now and nothing. ARGH! I hope they bring them back soon as I'm out!

The Meguiar's web site still sells it as a 2pk for $1.99. Same yellow foam appl with the M logo but looks like its in a new package.

I got some on sale for $1 about a week ago, so I bought 3 packs. I was freaking out b/c I couldnt find them, they had moved them to the same isle as the floor mats and stuff. They had a bunch of other stuff on sale that weekend too.



A friend of mine is really big into fishing. He found some special kind of sinker that will soak up fish attractant. He bought $70 worth of them for $10. :shocked

Next time I see them I'll probably buy like twenty, they are awesome. You don't waste anywhere near as much product as they don't absorb near as much as other applicators.

I went to quite a few Wal*Marts here in Austin and couldn't find them. However, a few weeks ago I think I probably got the last three packs at a Wal*Mart in a small town.



In case they're all sold out, do we have alternatives that we can pick up in local stores?

So THAT's why they were out in Union (you should really start leaving a little sign "Spilchy Was Here"). I got some in Watchung a few weeks ago.



BTW, it's possible that W-M is just clearing out the old packaging ahead of the 2007 stock coming in with the new packaging...maybe.
