Making Impossible possible car detailing by KC's

Hey ya'll, a couple years ago I got a quart of "Diamond Glaze", I think it was called, from a detail supplier. It was made by a company called Lyknu from Tennessee. It was pink, and smelled like kerosene. Anyway, this stuff was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! It would make oxidized paint disappear, make blacks dark and deep, excellent one step before a quality topper. This is the only product I bought from this distributor, so he didnt come around much. The last time he came around, back then, he said they werent making that stuff anymore, and I better buy a couple gallons. I thought he was b.s.'n me so I just bought one gallon. Next time he came around, sure enough, didnt carry it anymore. I tried contacting the company through the mail, but no luck. I wish I knew what that stuff was, or a comparable product. It would fill swirls too. I always topped it with paste or liquid carnuba, or liquid glass. It never streaked, no matter the weather. I have since then not found a product that would perform as well as it. Any suggestions? Thank You.

If you go the professional detailing fourms they may be able to help you. From what I can see, this fourm consists more of people who detail their cars and maybe one or two others. The professional detailers fourm is filled with people that own or work in a shop, I am sure they would buy in bulk and they probaly know more of the "commerical" product...

Is it abrasive? Did it cover up the problems or remove them? Likely removed them . . . I will search around a bit.

tools - plenty of all assorted brushes, soft bristle hair brushes, tooth brush.

-ONR Wash - with 3 microfibers

-O Power Clean - (1:1 used as degreaser, 3:1 to remove hard stains like algae, 5:1 paint cleaning & emblem cleaning, 8:1 door jams & stickers remover)

-Clay & ONR as QD for clay (2 ounces for 500 ml water)

-Meguiars M105 & Lake country double side wool (fast & quick) (makita spread 1 & progress to speed 3)

-Level up by Optimum Hyper spray compound & Lake country double cutting pad (makita spread 1 & progress to speed 3)

-Paint glossed with Meguiars M205 & Meguiars soft bun polishing pad (makita spread 1 & progress to speed 3 & regress to speed 2 & finish with speed 1)

Protected by

Optimum Opti seal (15 minutes) & Optimum Car wax (10 minutes)

Head lamp protected by Opti coat

although is fine but the deeper crack need to be levelled out by continues of 800 grit sand paper

tape marks...but easily removed by Optimum power clean again

after paint correct, another quick ONR wash given - so easy & effective

if it is not of ONR - i would have given up mobile detailing - imagine the amount of mess & water required for each detailing - at times is 3-4 washes
