Strange name, ain't it?
Hello all,
I've been lurking for a couple of weeks reading up on all the incredible posts, reviews, how-to's, etc and finally decided to sign up. Let me say this is the most incredible resource for auto detailing I've ever seen. You folks are a goldmine of information.
I've had a love affair with automobiles ever since my father used to let me shift gears for him in his 60-something Beetle (don't recall exactly what year it was). He would apply the clutch and say "now" and I'd shift to the next gear. Obviously, times were different as now my kids aren't even allowed in the front passenger seat!
I've had some pretty decent rides over the years, my favorite being a 1969 Mach 1. I've always been sort of nuts about keeping my rides clean and in good shape and in return I've usually been repaid by having very reliable and trustworthy autos. Times change so the days of the Mach 1 and Lil'RedExpress type vehicles are gone for me (at least for the next 15 years or so) but I still go the extra mile to keep our families vehicles looking and working the best they can.
I doubt I'll be able to help out since compared to most others here I'm a hacker detailer but if asked, I'll certainly try. And pardon me in advance if I ask a stupid question....no doubt it'll happen
.
Regards,
Natty
