I had been using Meguiars Gold Class Car Shampoo in the big one gallon jugs from Target for $7.99, and I was pleased with it.
When I ran out of that, and couldn't find it anywhere, a local auto store had a 16oz bottle of 3M car soap, and I am pretty impressed. I noticed it has a neutral pH of 6, and I didn't see that listed anywhere on the Megiuars bottle.
Anyway, I ran out of the 3M soap, and am looking for a replacement. I am tempted to get a big gallon of the 3M soap (I don't remember the PN# off hand, but it's the professional series) as it cleaned very well and seems as if it didn't affect the wax.
Before I do this (I probably won't wash another car by hand for another month since it's so damn cold out!) I was looking for other soaps I should give a try.
Thanks!
