Looking for a Good Water Based Tire Dressing

I love the Z-16 Zaino tire dressing. Goes on easy, nice low gloss and lasts for a while. My bottle is running out and I don't want to pay their high shipping fee's for just a couple bottles of tire dressing. I don't like gel based because they are hard to apply and are way too greasy. Can anyone recommend some water based tire dressings that are similar?



Btw, I'm also looking for a new Shampoo with good lubricity, similar to Zaino. Suggestions?

I like Mother's FX. It's pretty thick, but water-based and very good. I've also heard good things about their water-based Reflections tire care, which gives a more matte look.
 
Just a suggestion, but you might well find some local Autopians nearby who are also Zaino users. Y'all could combine orders and keep the shipping costs really low since it is a set fee per order. Also, I believe you can purchase Zaino products in case lots at a significant discount (and become a local supplier).



And also consider the cost of driving to your local supplier to by a Zaino substitute; depending on the drive, that might equal or exceed the shipping cost; not to mention the cost of the other stuff you'll probably buy (that you might not need) because you're in the store.
 
I've tried many, but the best is 303. It not only dresses the tires perfectly, it protects them against the effects of those nasty UV rays.

It looks like you are getting replies for tire dressing only, so you may want to search for the soap answer. There have been a couple recent threads about soaps that are worth checking out :xyxthumbs
 
How long does the Mothers FX last? I've been looking for a liquid that has good durability. Some tires have way too much decoration on the sidewalls to use a gel with good results. I usually use NL for those, but the durability isn't really there.
 
303 provides a beautiful matte sheen that lasts a month or more. You just spray it on, let it sit five minutes and wipe off w/ a cloth or sponge, and Voilá! Your good to go for a month or more.

Yeah, I've been so sick of gel tire dressing that I actually used my 303 on a couple details today. It's not as glossy as I would prefer on low pro tires and high performance type vehicles, but it looks great on luxury cars, family cars, etc that look better with a nice matte finish.
 
Look no further than Chemical Guy’s Extreme VRT Dressing. Water-based, dries to the touch, and extremely durable. This is hands down the best dressing I’ve ever used for plastic, tires, and trim. Matte or high gloss finish (1 or 2 applications), no sling, and does not diminish after heavy rain. Application is easy too . . . it’s like lotion on your applicator or towel, not a messy gel or spray. Cost: $15 for 1 gallon. Enjoy :woot2:
 
Ive also purchased from Ira and his wife at LA Zaino, they are cool folks. If youre ever in the santa monica area check them out.



OTC ive used Lexol Vinylex for my tires and I have been quite pleased. Im itching to try 303 though. Im not only interested in the looks of the dressing but the UV protection as well.



I hear TOL bubble bath is good. Im looking to purchase some real soon
