Looking for a Good Water Based Tire Dressing

Thanks Zaneo. Almost everything on that site is only available in 1 gallon quantities. Is there any way I could get them in a smaller size?

It's says on its website that its not a matte finish, but a shiny finish. And its $24 for a gallon. Are you talking about the All-Guard X or All-Guard O?



Whats the difference between:

1) ALL GUARD X- Natural Pleasant Matt Shine Dressing (1 Gallon) $15.95

2) ALL GUARD O- NEW CAR PREMIUM Shine Dressing (1 Gallon) $16.95

Just the level of shine?
 
Chemical Guys offers any product for $10/bottle for 16 oz.

Mother's FX gets my vote.



I'm also using a product called Super Dressing, but its an in-store brand of a local detailing shop. Most likely it is a rebadged product that is available elsewhere (I'm assuming their entire lineup is like this), but I don't know that for sure. Anyways, it comes in gallon sizes for about $20 and has the look of Mother's FX.

Durability is about as good as it gets for a water based dressing. Application is another thing. I found that it doesn't spread evenly, has a consistency between a gel and a liquid.



I like Michelins water based product better.

303 Aerospace seems to last four weeks for me if I only scrub the tires lightly with a fairly soft brush during my weekly wash. This is on a daily driver. I figure it costs no more than $30 per year to keep my tires dressed with 303.



For other people's cars I go with Hi-Temp Grape Tire Dressing.
 
But there are 3 dressings to choose from. Someone here suggested Extreme VRT and said it would be a matte finish, but looking at the website, it says high gloss finish. And why are the other tire dreesings so much cheaper?
 
I have All Guard X and O. The X leaves the surface with a low gloss finish and the O with a little more glossy finish. I haven't used the VRT dressing yet. Keep in mind that everything is "Super Duper Hight Shine" at CG's.:rofl:
 
Out of All Guard X and 0, which one do you prefer and why? I think all three are basically the same, but each one differs by the level of shine. What do you think?
