Looking Back @ 2009... The Highlights!

Camo,

How do you do all those enormous trucks? They must take you forever to complete.

.

Thanks, I just try and do the best I can and prefer not to have a time limit. I always liked detailing trucks over cars so I do enjoy it,

I want to play. A few of the cars that I worked on this past year. Hope that everyone has more great pictures for 2010. So far all the cars on this thread look awesome. Thanks for the idea Luster.

Some incredible work here!:notworthy::notworthy:

Here's a couple of recent Italians. The 355 has snow on it:eek:. The owner brought it by for only a few minutes as it was freezing cold outside.

Sorry, bad photos...

Hey Barry, your car looks awesome.

I detailed one very similar a while back and the wheels were a pain to clean. Do you have a pretty good process laid down?

Nick,

Yes the wheels are a PITA to clean. They probably take me longet to do the wheels then the rest of the car. Right now, I have them coated with Wheel Wax, so when I do an ONR wash (too cold here in NJ for a regular wash), I use a dedicated 3rd bucket just for the wheels. I first spray them with ONR at QD strength. Then I use a soft wheel brush for the face of the wheel. Then I use a MF brush to get inbetween the openings (I LOVE this brush). Then I just go over it with some clean ONR.

During the summer months, I will use P21S Gel, and all the same brushes in car shampoo. Once the wheels have been sealed, just use the brushes with shampoo.

I'm sure that what I have laid out is nothing different from what you already do, but what the heck.

Thanks for the props:Dancing Dot:

Thanks Barry.

I have been meaning to pick up a jar of wheel wax and give that MF brush a try.

It is hard to pick a favorite from all these incredible cars but I keep going back to Rasky's 66 427 Vette. What a gorgeous car!

Thanks!

I actually had the pleasure of driving that bad boy! Nothing like the sound and feel of a nicely cammed big block and side exhaust! :cornut:
