Too funny! I use Optimum and Clearkote products far more than Ultima, yet somehow I am now the official Ultima product shill? Even better how this is done on a board you have to register to read, yet I know I am not welcome to register.

Sorry I don't think Zaino is the second coming, sad that some can't deal with an honest opinion.
 
Somewhere there's guys on a message forum doing the same thing about who makes the best hot dogs and who grills them best.

When they are talkin' 'boutcha it's because they wish they had the skills to pay the bills... If they did have the skills they'd be so damn busy the could care less what Scottultima was using!!

There are many negative threads/posts going on over at DC that are aimed at Autopia, DavidB, and yes, Scott too. It's sad that the mods over there seem to turn a blind eye to it all and allow such nonsense to continue.:sadpace:



Whatever happened to their motto "process over product"? Several posters over there seem just to want to make fun of or criticize those who don't jump on their bandwagon.
 
This also says that you have to be careful what you read as "honest and unbiased" when it comes to product reviews as well. It's *PERSONAL* and nothing more or less.

:werd: I am easily bought according to them but Zaino beta testers are the epitemy of "no bias" and completely honest reviews?



I make no secret that I get products to test from time to time. However, I get them from a wide range of manufacturers because they believe that my using a wide variety of products means I have a lot of products on hand already that I can compare and constrast the test products with. I also see a wide variety of vehicles that range from garage queens to rolling landfills. Not one company has ever asked me for anything other than a fair test and my honest opinion. What is the point of puffing up a crap product anyway? Why would I want my e-mail inbox filled with hate e-mail because I recommend junk?

I agree 100% its like a juvenile schoolyard....
 
My parents taught me that the color of your wax, or the color of your skin, doesn’t define who or what a person is. I’ve learned that your religion or your social strata (or even your internet connection speed) doesn’t relate to the strength of your character or the quality of your humanity. Secret societies and, er…â€�clubsâ€� with restricted membership, are just hiding places for people with small minds to congregate, and for intolerance to breed.
 
Both forums (and memberships) are guilty of both sides' accusations, IMO. The constant discussion about it is bordering on the definition of insanity. There is no positive outcome for either side to continue on in this manner. It just ruins the enjoyment of the hobby and detracts why we're all here.



I generally expect better of grown people. I guess I'm diluted in that expectation.
 
There is a difference, Zane. When I have something to say, I do it here, right out in the open. I don't post it on a board that obviously isn't going to allow me to register and read what is being said. I'm not talking about anyone behind their backs.
