Lamborghini Murcielago

Once owned by Jesse James this Murcielago found its way to San Antonio Porsche.

I detailed it yesterday, along with my partner Ron (who removed a ding in the passenger door) and I was able to snap a few pics off before the new owner drove away.

Hard paint covered this baby and it really needed a wool pad leveling session, perhaps a wetsanding in some areas but we did what we could with the time we had.

Orange pad and PG, white pad and IP, finishing pad an FPII. Topped with OCW.

VM on the wheels, Leathermaster on the interior.

Here is a single shot of a 05 Basalt Black C4S that I detailed for a new client......I did it rather late one day and this is for now the only AFTER picture I have as the sun was dropping fast ( i HATE

:angry the time change!). I hope to have more pictures at another time of this beautiful machine. Menzerna IP, FP, AIO and Trade Secret cover this baby, all polishing done with the Cyclo.

Here is another picture of the Bentley and two Ferrari's we also recently detailed

An Audi S4 which was just a wash and then wiped down with OCW

Here is my partner Ron using his Cyclo and Menzerna IP on the Spyder.

incredible work on all those nice cars

who's jesse james.. i cant put the name with the face, but im positive i would know...

the ferraris look like twins

are you hiring?

murci...:D awesome jobs.

is the exhaust on the murcielago aftermarket with those four pipes? or is that how they came from the factory?

Very nice selection of cars, Anthony! I really like the Murcielago. Still waiting for my customer to get his roadster.

I know what you mean about trying to get pics when the days are so short. I wanted to get some before and after shots of a Jag S Type I was doing an exterior detail on today, but since it was 24 this morning, I couldn't start until around 10AM which put me behind all day. To finish the Jag in time, I had to work straight through. I took pics about 10-15 minutes prior to sunset...so they may be a bit dark. Oh well, what can you do, right?

How is the paint on the Lambo? They still putting out cars with no orange peel?

Jesse James is the great great great grandson of the famous theif Jesse James and he owns West Coast Choppers out in California. He does was the monster garage guy!

What machine would you have used this wool pad with? I'm kind of curious to know what type of defect would require this and how you would go about using it. Thanks in advance.

Nice eye candy. I can't decide if I like the Murcielago better than the Gallardo or vice versa. Atlanta just opened it's first Lambo dealer and it is close to Todd's place. They also sell the Lotus Elise.

Ahh, you are a lucky guy.

All those gorgeous cars to detail...Perks of the job eh ;)?

All look stunning as usual :)

Thanks for the compliments and I may need to in fact hire someone here soon. I usually slow down quite a bit this time of year but I have been slammed lately. I think I am going on 15 days straight, usually 8am to 6 or even 9pm:sosad

The exhaust is aftermarket and they are really loud....not sure if I care for the sound as the car attracts enough attention already.

The chrome wheels are not my fav either....too bling bling:D

Yeah....I hate working in the cold weather, would much rather opt for the heat and humidity and it also really irks me that the sun goes down by 5:15 now! I have lots of BEFORE pics but it's always too dark for any AFTER's:nixweiss

I would of loved to have used or tried out the new Cyclo system on this paint but time would not allow it. At about 2pm they came and told me the owner would be by at 4:45 to check it out....you got to be kidding me?!

Tha paint was in rough shape, had random scratches all over it and heavy swirls in the hood plus tons of paint overspray. I barely finished in time as it was. Perhaps when I get more familiar with the new Cyclo system I will learn its limits, its pros and cons and be better able to use it to its full potential.

My first pad and product would be a LC wool cutting pad (perhaps after 3k grit sanding) with Hi-Temps Xtreme C and perhaps then an LC wool polishing pad with a medium cut product, one that cuts fast and breaks down quickly. Using wool pads is fairly safe as they usually run cooler on the paint than your typical foam pads.

They are VERY messy though on their first uses!

LOL...that "S&M" comment cracked me up:D

I get Leathermaster from Top of the Line.

If I had a choice between the V12 Lambo or the V10 Lambo.......my choice would be the V10. It just seems to be a better all around car and sexy as can be:xyxthumbs

Thank you all for the kind words and compliments, much appreciated.

Anthony
