I finally did it! Thanks to all the knowledge I picked up by reading posts here and doing lots of research I finally went through with Klasse last week!
My truck is a 2001, so I didnt prep as much as I otherwise would have since the paint is still in very good condition, however, I have noticed that the results definately are better in the areas I prepped more. The hood for example. My procedures are as follows:
1) Gave the truck an initial wash with MGC
2) Claybarred the hood, as I saw this as being the area with the most to gain
3) Finshed off a thorough washing of the entire car and removed any clay/QD residue
4) AIO across front half of truck, special attention to hood
5) SG across front half of truck
two days later
6) Wash again
7) AIO remainder of truck plus AIOx2 (2nd coat) on hood
8) SG across entire truck, including areas with initial coat already
three days later
9) Wash again
7) SG entire truck
Now up to AIOx2 on my hood and SGx3 across the front half of my truck, SGx2 along the rest of it, I must say that the results are looking EXCELLENT! The paint looks so deep and the color has just changed, it looks so beautiful I cant even explain it. The hood in particular, which I clayed and polished twice looks sooo sooo smooth and glossy like it never did even the day I took her home! Before having done all this I didnt *really* think that there was anything I could do to make my truck look much better being as it is relatively new and all, but after having a couple to 3 layers of Klasse SG all over the truck my mind is totally changed! Much thanks to Autopia for showing me the light! hehe
Well... the following will be a few huge pics... assuming they allow me to upload pics this big lol.
