1.) I am getting tired of hearing about Nurburgring

2.) the vipper that beat the record had a HCP(Hard Core Package)

the car in the pics does not

3.) I am actually more impresses that he new caddy does the ring in less then 8 min.

4.) the third pic with the red stripe matched on the stearing wheel is awesome

The hardcore package is the audio delete in exchange for a lap counter...those first 3 pics are the hardcore package.... the last pic is the canadian model acr... those are the only models that have to have fog lamps....just fyi....here is the actual ring beater.....

why do flat chested women wear bras

questions about cars I can answer

but women are too hard to figure out

(but if I had to guess it would be so they could stuff them)

why do we drive on a parkway and

park on a driveway?:grinno:

Some more pics of the actual car back at CAAP.....the srt and Zakspeed representatives who were there at the track signed the rear wing to commemorate the historic event

I drove several high-end Vipers prior to getting the Porsche and I'll still take the Porsche over the nose heavy Viper.

Hell, a GTR can lap the ring in good time as well, and still be very street drivable.

So far, haven't seen any Vipers win at ALMS races, and that's against cars in same class.

Vipers are a great car for those that want raw HP and lots of noise.

Deanski

Deanski, don't forget about the freaken heat. Those cars get hot as hell and if you wear shorts, make sure you don't touch your leg on the exhaust when getting out. Other than that the adjustable foot pedals are pretty cool.

Dodge actually runs 5th against series manufacturers-alms- but nowadays there is no money for factory support

ALMS Briefs - AutoWeek Magazine

The higher end porsche is going to be easier to drive but at the track the viper acr will dominate any modified porsche..just look at the "one lap of america" results this year as the viper dominated the modified 996 twin turbo in 13 of 14 track events

One Lap of America - the Official Webpage

There is nothing wrong with brand loyalty and the viper is certainly not easy to master but can be the most rewarding...it is faster than my F430 and very street friendly

Wow, hope whoever ends up with that car gets an Autopian to get that crap off of that ridiculous wing.

Um yeah. If someone were to get that car it would be worth big money years from now for being the car the broke the record on the 'ring, those signatures would add to it's value.
