Kaepernick

If he feels that an NFL game is the proper place to express his personal feelings, he`s wrong. If he won`t show the basic respect that everyone in that stadium showed then he could and should have refused to take part in the entire event - stay home. But that would mean no game check.
His narcissism prevents him from realizing that his views are not so incredibly important enough that they must absolutely have to be shared with others. He is there to do a job (which he hasn`t done well in a couple years), and his job is to play a game for a living while making millions every year.
 
Dissing America at a football game, might as well go burn a confederate flag at a NASCAR race.
The thing about the NFL is they pick and choose, Hands Up, Don`t Shoot a few years ago, no problem. Want to wear a tiny sticker on your helmet for the fallen Dallas PD guys, nope. So glad I don`t watch sports. What happened to showing up to games in suits and clean? Now it`s a rats nest hair, dropped shirts and smoking a blunt.

Glad to see Drew Brees come out against what Kaepernick is doing, along with many other NFL players. Good to see some athletes know right from wrong.

Heh heh, same here (well, Pro Sports, I do watch the Olympics). I only checked it out because [a fellow Autopian] PMed me about it...name calling/etc. Sure enough.. :(

Most of Kaepernick`s tattoos, 95% of them are religious references in regards to his faith. I`m not really sure how that has anything to do with anything. A person`s character is how I ultimately judge them.

I`m definitely not a fan of his and I in my opinion, because I have the right to have one, he used the wrong platform to voice his protest. Given his status, he has the ability to talk to the media nearly everyday. He could have got his message out that way. I`m with Boomer Esiason. He should suit up in a cop uniform for a few days and see what it`s like walking in those shoes.

Little protest; get serious like Jim Brown and *really* get involved in the nitty gritty of the matter if`n ya got something to say or you wanna make a difference. Thinking that if Kap wandered into the ghetto he`d end up hanging on someones beltloop like a little prag within a few minutes, tattoos or not.

I couldnt be happier with Trump. Wish we had Trump senators, Trump gov., Trump everything.
 
I honestly see Hillary as far more damaging. The dems control legislation, and Hillary will be able to get stuff done that she wants. Worst case scenario, Trump can`t get any support, nothing moves in Congress and he`s largely a lame duck. The thought of what Hillary could do in 8 years terrifies me.
