... in mucky Quebec winter. Broke out the tripod and hit a picture every step of the way. Just thought I'd share.

Spray Eagle One Wax-As-U-Dry liberally...

Sorry for the picture flood if that's not accepted here... I made them pretty small, just thought the sequence was cool.
 
Looks like you have a nice place (and warm) to wash the car--very jealous! I will have to try the Eagle One Wax-As-You-Dry--seems to do a nice job.

Great pictures. Where you wash the car? I like that you have access for indoor washing and hosing off of the vehicle(I presume that is what you did). I am very interested in the Eagle One Wax-As-You-Dry especially in the winer months. How is this product? I want to know more (is there competing products to it?)
 
Oh so you didnt use a waterless wash !?! LOL Thats how the cars look here in the winter if not worse. No quick and easy waterless washes here:(

WAYD works pretty well, it noticeably increases beading and slickness on a waxed surface. I would not reccomend it being your one and only wax/sealant on the car, becasue the protection you will get is similar to that of a QD.



I love using it on rims because it actually makes them easier to dry, and you are doing well for the coat(s) of wax you have on them. :xyxthumbs



As for comparable products, TW makes a few spray waxes, which I found to be royal garbage in my pre-autopian days... and Meguiar's has a product called Quick Wax, which you spray on a dry surface, and wipe clean... it works about like a QD. I dont really see the point of it. :nixweiss

LOL, waterless is SUICIDE with all this grit.



In those pictures I had detailed the car Saturday, as usual... so it wasn't too bad for two days since it's real cold. Combine melting snow with the construction in my area, and sometimes I lose the car if I park it on the street... can't see her any more. :(



This is the wash pad in the our underground parking garage at our complex. It's a nice level concrete surface, the place is heated and all. There's a 20ft hose on a pillar and a drain under the car. Then every two or three days I give her that quick wash, only takes 30 minutes. She dries overnight, my parking spot is around the corner in that garage, and there's one of the heating apparatus right over my car. Every day I rinse the car off before parking it.



The EO WAUD is a fine product by my standards. I love it on my wheels. I don't use it on the car, but then again being in a heated garage I'm able to re-apply my wax topcoat every month.



If you guys like picture, I'll be sharing more in the future. I take pics of most of the work I do.

I love before and after pics like that. I'm definatly getting a tripod this year so I can get the same kinds of pictures. :xyxthumbs Good sequence. Never appologize for picture floods. If we didn't want you to do it then we would restrict the number of pics you can put in a post. :up

But it is restricted! I hit the max on that post... ;)



Then here's a full quality uncompressed original showing a part of my roof after I dried the car. There's no QD on the surface there, it's just sporting a 2 week old Meguiars application... and some signs of swirling... :( ...winter is always rough.

i like the way you took all pics from same angle, and same lense setting. Very good in comparisons. Mosttimes people alter angles and such to make pictures look better for the after shot.

I gotta say that everytime I wash my Reflex Silver GTi I love the color more and more.:cool:
 
That's the best slide show i've seen :up, i hope we get more of those kinds of pictures.



BTW, how were you able to minize scrathes on the side panels when you washed it? I just wanted to know since when i get my side panels as muddy as that and wash it, i notice a few scratches :(

Excellent sequence and car, Pascal. I'm not affraid of snow so my cars end up looking pretty white (salty) after a snow storm. I hit the quarter wash last night with my winter car and my IS has been parked. It was nice to drive it today all clean and shiney when no other cars were.

Just curious--do you have a lot of competition for the wash bay?? Or are you one of the few to use it?



I will kill for a heated in-door wash bay--maybe I should move to Canada.:p
