Hey guys, thanks for the kind comments on the photos and the car. Here's a few answers, in no particular order.
I had setup the camera on my tripod, with a 10 second delay on the shutter to make sure I was away and it was done vibrating when it took the shot. About 1.5sec exposure here. Over time you guys will notice I take a LOT of pictures. I'm just an amateur but I think I have a pretty good eye for what people like looking at.
The car looks OK right now I guess... Those are my 16" winter wheels, and the suspension has been raised a little. In summer it's on 19" wheels that really set it off nicely, and it's a bit lower too.
As far as not scratching is concerned... I use 4 or 5 washmitts for the whole car. Once I've done a couple strokes, I flip the mitt for the next pass. Then I put it away. Top, hood, windows aren't too bad. I just tread lightly, but for sure I damage the finish. Oh well... Short of buying myself a hi-pressure washer, there's no getting around it. I do use a LOT more soap in my mix, to try and keep things nice and slippery.
About the "wash pad" in the garage... Out of 80 units in our building, I'm the only person I've ever seen there. There's a 10$ detail shop one block away, and most people seem to go there. :nixweiss Needless to say I've always got the best looking detail job in the whole place... I get a lot of comments, both from people who admire the results, and from others who don't give a rats #%@ and think I'm retarder for spending so much time on it. :sosad
Aaron (APT): I take it you've recognized me from the Contour board? I started lurking here a while ago thanks to your referral. Thanks for the comments!
I shall take other "slide shows" along winter, scare some of you southerners. This was pretty mild, sometimes it gets real dirty up here.
