JT International rocks...

I'm not sure if this belongs here or in product review, but here goes.

I recieved my order from Tom at JT International of (12) 16"x16" microtouch mint green and (2) larger waffle weave towels a week or so ago. He was a pleasure to work with and delivered prompt service.

The towels are as good as my CMA towels and I was blown away by how well the waffle weave towel soaked up the water. I washed my F150 this weekend and dryed it with one towel.

Can't beat the price, service or quality.

I just got my order from Tom also. I got the 16x16 towels. For the price, you can't beat them. I've bought the Majic Towel MF's from CMA and paid much more and got as good or better quality towel (don't forget that pricey shipping) My towels From Tom came with a tag on as well.

Tom offeres great customer service and great prices. I look forward to dealing with him in the future.

That's great! I just ordered from Tom and he was definitely easy to work with. Can't wait until I get them this week. All these good reviews are giving me good vibes.:up

The towels I recently got from JT International are great and I'm simply amazed that he can sell towels so plush for only 2 bucks each. Also, I ordered them on a Monday and received them via Priority mail on Wednesday (UPS Ground sucks!).

The only down-side I think worth mentioning is that after the initial wash, the stitching on the corners of a few of the mint-green towels were starting to unravel. This really isn't a problem for me because I was planning on destitching them anyway. None of the other colors had this problem.

I mentioned this to problem Tom and he immediately e-mailed me back saying that he would contact his supplier and investigate the problem. He also offered to give me a full refund (or replacement credit) on my towels. He was even going to toss a few mint green towels into his washer and try to replicate what happened to mine. Talk about good service. :up

He doesn't have a website. But his towels are on eBay. Just search for microfiber towels.

His contact info is:

Ditto here on the incredible service and ULTRA fast delivery. I ordered on Friday and got them MONDAY!!! Coast to Coast that is too... Tom was very helpful and courteous through our whole dealing.

Upon initial inspection the towels, they look fantastic. I got some gray 16x16s and two mint green large waffleweave. I can't wait to try them out!!!

As for the edges fraying...My towels from CMA and Neatitems did that also.

For 2 bucks each, it appears that these CAN NOT be beat... I'll post more after i get to use them.

Thanks TOM!!!

Makes sense....b/c there probably aren't too many different suppliers over at Korea. My CMA, neatitems, Tacscar, & even nicsand towels didn't fray, but I haven't ordered from them for a while. My old towels are stitched completely differently from the JT towels....but I wouldn't be surprised if the neatitems towels now have the same stitching as the JT towels now.

I forgot to mention that the waffle weave towels are excellent also. The ones I got (54 x 28) work great and make drying very easy. If I had to do it again I would get a few of the smaller ones instead though b/c my towels are almost TOO big to handle comfortably!

Are there tags on the towels?

Yes, there are tags. I spent a good half hour trying to carefully take them out without unraveling the stiches (around 25 towels). The towels are great. JT International rocks.

I ruined my neatitems towels because i just ripped off the tag. Oh well. I will try Pakshak towels because of the no tag thing.

I too ruined a cma towel by pulling out the tags! I mean, they're frayed in one spot more than any other, but i still use them.

With my new JT towels, I cut as close to the seam as possible, but this still makes me nervous... Is there an effective way to get the remaining tag out without ruining the seam? They seem to be in there pretty well too!!

Anyone have any tips?

Kinda begs the question why ANY MF manufacturers would put tags on their stuff. :nixweiss

People have cut up towels and they still work. Amazingly they don't frey, well the one that I saw cut up. I tend to pull at a stiff angle really really fast. Some labels are sturdier than others.

It's technically against the law to not have tags when selling (you can pull them off) sorta like that matress and pillow tag deal. It's because as a consumer you might be allergic to the material so by law a sell must provide a tag with the contents of the product.

I also had the same problem with the fraying on the mint green towels that I recently got from Tom....the other colors were perfectly fine, and did not fray at all. I brought it to Tom's attention, and he offered me a refund, or replacement of the towels in a different color.....I took the replacement towels in a different color.....great service! He is going to wash some of his mint green to see if he can duplicate the problem. Maybe he just got a bad batch of mint green! I know that he was waiting on a new shipment of mint green when I ordered, so the ones he shipped to me, he just received from Korea. Oh well, it certainly won't stop me from ordering from him in the future!

The tag is necessary to meet the USA Customs law requirement that must identify the country of origin and state the material composition of finished textile goods that will ultimately be sold to the end-user. If MF towel sellers didn't label each towel, the USA Customs Service may confiscate the goods at the port.

I just got an update from Tom saying that he was indeed able to replicate the problem I was having (corners of A FEW the mint-green towels fraying after washing). He's working with the manufacturer in coming up with a solution. In the meantime, he plans to disclose this possible fraying issue to his customers.

Talk about great service! It’s good to see that he’s being very conscientious about the fraying, despite the fact that this issue is a very small problem and it hardly changes my opinion of his towels. This is quite a refreshing change from another popular MF towel vendor here who seems to have a habit of not returning my e-mails.

I think it's fairly safe to assume that Tom's customer service is pretty much second to none. He was great to deal with!

And the towels ain't too shabby either! :xyxthumbs

Anyone know if Tom is offline right now? I sent him an email a couple of days ago to get a price on a large waffle weave towel, have not heard anything back yet.
