Its Official June 2nd Tampa Meet

Jim and I just went to properautocare today and picked up a bunch of stuff...New stuff to try. Some great Blackfire products and some other great stuff.

It was me this time. But tons of new stuff to try including the Blackfire Carnuba that I just could not hold off on anymore.

Yea Angelo, I think it was Christmas for Josh today! I didnt get much, just some interior essentials and a polishing pad lube.

Josh got some nice goodies :2thumbs:

Jim

The way you guys like to shop there, i figure they should give you guys a job there or better yet the keys! Can't wait to see your purchase on the 2nd! Angelo

You might want to give the Blackfire stuff a try Angelo, it looks outstanding for what we tried briefly on my trunk and fender.

Cool! Does it works on very bad white oxidization paint? Would like to try some on the wife's car. Also did you guy's ask if they are going to get the new UDM machine and the products too from DavidB? Just wondering.

No, but I am sure we have stuff that will. Pick up some of the empty sample bottles from walmart and I can give you some samples to take with you of some stuff.

im sure the blackfire SRC finishing polish would be good for oxidized white paint. Thanks Josh, I almost forgot about the Tarminator and 34. What a GREAT price on #34, I gotta load up on that before they are gone!

Jim

Stuff that we have...., I have some polishes and Prime and XMT360. All of those should take care of that. Josh has plenty of stuff to take care of that as well. I bet you his Menzerna FPII would wipe it out too. Maybe you should bring it by on the meet and we can all try to fix it up. That would be fun.

Jim

Thanks guys , i will try to bring it on the 2nd, i just had to replace the clutch last week at a tune of 1000.00 bucks! and this is the second time in 5 yrs! That's why i need to do this for her. You all saw my car, when you see her's you think it's not from my house.

2 clutches in 5 years!! Maybe you should buy her an automatic man! Ive NEVER replaced a clutch in my life and Ive driven manual trannies ever since i got my license.

Jim

It isn't her driving, it's Toyota's cheap way to save money. It's a problem across all toyota matrix xrs 6sp! and they won't fix the problem. And i wished i could have fix it myself, but at least i fix the a/c for her (cost 17.00 dollars), shop wanted 300.00 dollars! but at least it's running great now.

what was wrong with her AC? My fiance has a small leak in her ac and they want 1500 bux to fix it. they filled it but it shouldnt be long before the hot air starts blowing again.

Jim

It was a chip and her interior filter was damaged and i remove part of the dash to clean out a large plastic bag that got caught it her return vent. Chip free , filter 17.00 bucks! on your girlfriends a/c, i think she might have one of her lines that is leaking or a seal. A good place that could help is ICE COLD AIR, there are everywhere in the bay area, if not maybe i could look at it on the 2nd. Also where did she take it to and what did they said to repair it. (lines, seal, compressor or what?)

she took it to the dodge dealership. they said there was a small leak somewhere. they filled it with some neon stuff so they couldfind the leak. i guess they found a small one. they patched it up and filled her up with freon.

they said they cant get a new hose, they have to replace the whole thing, hence the 1500 bux. we paid 150 for the check up and the refill. it still works, but it should be anytime now that it craps out.
